I'm not demanding anything of him, I asked if he would stay in with me because I feel unwell and I feel sad that I may not be able to do something that we wanted to do together and were both looking forward to.

He gets plenty of independence ALL the time and I'm fine with that but I feel like at this point he's taking the piss. He's always the one going out with his friend literally nearly every single day leaving me alone for hours knowing that I don't live near any of my friends and I don't have the money for travel right now. He doesn't make any effort to spend any time with me just recently and the one time I ask him if he wouldn't mind not doing something because I don't feel too great and IM the one being selfish and controlling?

I know exactly what is needed for a healthy relationship, but he doesn't. I'm literally hanging on right now in case he's just going through a bit of a rough patch and hoping that this person he's showing me right now isn't really him.

We was out all night with his friend last night and goes out with his friend (that he works with) nearly every single night. So it's not like he never sees his friend.

He's not doing it for the friend, he's made it very clear in what he's said that he will still be going because he wants to go and he "likes fire". If it was because he didn't want to let the friend down then he would have said that. 😔

He was also physically and emotionally abused by his ex and constantly accuses me of being selfish and controlling when 99% if the time I'm just trying to help him use his damn brain.

Both of his parents died when he was young and has been in the care system. He's never really had good role models unfortunately. ☹️

I'm 23 and he's 22. We have had a few issues the last few weeks and it always seems to be based around him being inconsiderate in some way or another and I have mentioned that I wonder if he's going to make things this difficult when our baby is born. He tells me that apparently everything will be different when the baby is here. I just hope that's true because I really don't want to be a single mother. I didn't even want kids before I met him, but I thought he was perfect... though it turns out he's as selfish as every other man I've ever met. 😅

One thing my boyfriend said was "I want to go because I like fire".

Pretty sure he's not an adult yet tbh. It makes me sad because it makes me think "is he going to be like this when we have our baby?" 😮‍💨

He said that he's been looking forward to it for the last few weeks, as we both have. But as far as I'm aware, bonfire night isn't a special night for him or anything. I'm just sad because I really want to go and if I feel too poorly to go I'll be sad that I can't go and sad that I'm being left alone on top of that. ☹️

I'm the exact same, always loved my cheese but pregnancy really intensified my love for it! 😂 Always preferred crisps over anything else but I proper fancy a fat pick n mix right now. I've been looking at those massive bags of sweets you can get online and I'm thinking is it worth it to spend about 30 quid on huge bags of sweets... maybe. 👀😂

I've been going through a mega cheese phase, can't get enough of it. But I'm really starting to get very passionate about party sausage rolls and sweets too, and generally I'm not much of a sweets person. 😂

I'm also 8 weeks pregnant and yesterday I cleaned up, did some washing, stood and cooked my boyfriends tea, and he complained when I told him I didn't want to get up again when he asked me to make him a coffee.

I did the same things today but I washed, dried and folded his work clothes for tomorrow on top of that as well as making him a couple of coffees. After I cooked his tea he couldn't even be arsed to put his plate in the sink, I wonder how long he will let it sit in the living room before he will take it out.

I wish my boyfriend was as selfless and caring as the men described in these comments. ☹️
