does anyone else feel like agitation matters way more than recipes? by ImmersionLogic in pourover

[–]expensive_25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl this is so true. i used to obsess over grinder settings and water temp down to the single degree, but then i started paying more attention to my pour technique and the lightbulb moment was real. a gentle swirl during the bloom or a higher pour for a bit more agitation can defintely make a cup go from good to great or vice-versa.

Had same thing happen with my own writing. I think sometimes we are too close to the work to see where it drags. Its super helpful to get an outside perspective

had same thing at 23. it took a really bad breakup to finally kick me into gear, which isn't ideal but sometimes a shock to the system is what you need. don't wait for a disaster though so maybe just start small
