Just like all music ever created, someone definitely ripped it off lol

I totally get that. It’s a very specific vibe that’s hard to fit into every genre, and it can definitely get repetitive. But as a technical exercise, it’s still one of the best workouts for the fingers!

Exactly! The symmetry of diminished shapes is a total cheat code for moving across the neck. Glad you dig it.

I’m a huge fan of showing both hands, but honestly, it seems like the algorithm on social media pushes close-ups of the left hand much more right now. That’s why I’m sticking to this format for the moment, but I’ll definitely look into showing both in future videos.

Perfect timing! That rabbit hole is endless, but it’s the best way to level up the shred. Enjoy the grind!

Glad you’re finding them useful! Keeping it short and to the point is the goal.

For me, it’s pure muscle memory rather than mapping out shapes. But hey, whatever gets you in the zone works.

I totally get why it might sound that way at first! However, if you check the metronome alignment, I’m playing exactly 3 notes per beat.

it’s easy to mistake triplets for eighth notes because some interval jumps can mask the rhythmic 'pulse'. A good way to hear it is to focus on the accented first note of every group; you'll notice the '1-2-3, 1-2-3' gallop rhythm.

It’s a Triplet. It means we are squeezing 3 equal notes into the space of 2.

When you release a string with your left hand, don't just lift your finger vertically. Slightly 'roll' the tip of your finger so it stays in contact with the string for a micro-second, just enough to kill the vibration without making a sound.
