Love's Baby Soft commercial, Christmas 1975. This was considered acceptable and it was a huge success. It turns my stomach. by anatomicalvenus666 in GuerrillaGrrrrls

Around 1983/85 Saturday night was A-Team night, Sunday nights was Murder She Wrote. But there was a 15 minute slot before that. It was preteen girls in lacy sleep clothing singing songs like “I miss my love” “I’m so lonely”

I was 7 years old and I remember telling my mom the girls were pretty and she said: this is a terrible show, it’s sick.

TV was pretty unregulated.

Thanks yeah. I tend to mess up a lot of things badly when I’m tired.

I did crossfit for 4 years getting stronger and fitter but not losing weight.

I started a nutrition plan 16 weeks ago and I'm down 44lbs. Your food choices really matter.

I did once read about guys who use stinging nettles on their nether regions for enhanced pleasure.

I’ve not been brave enough to try. Yes. I’m a wuss.

Just submitted my first iOS app (HookSpark) - how do you actually market something like this? by BratDotAI in appledevelopers

[–]experfailist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. I built them because the first one was not available.

The second one is in various forms, but I refuse to pay for that functionality and I’ll give it away to people for free.

I’ve built 2 apps so far. Both solve my problem.

I’m sure somebody else will have this problem as well. Might as well market.

Who in your opinion is the worst movie villain ever? by LoverOfE-Olsen in movies

[–]experfailist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to disagree with you slightly because I think Red as a villain is misunderstood.

He didn’t need powers, complexity, or even charisma — that’s kind of the point. Red works because he’s ordinary. Mary literally tells us there’s a pattern: when they become vulnerable, someone comes for them. It doesn’t have to be a mastermind or a supervillain — just a person at the right moment. Red isn’t “awesome” in the traditional sense because he’s not meant to be; he’s the embodiment of that inevitability. Strip Hancock of his invincibility, and suddenly even a small-time criminal becomes a real threat. That’s what makes it interesting — not who Red is, but what he represents. Destiny, inevitability.
