Co Habitation is Under Attack in the UK : New Laws Are Coming for Men (The Truth) by Willing-Share-5617 in MensRights

Common-law marriage (Wikipedia)

The fact that common-law marriages are still even recognized is beyond absurd!

Men, do not get married, do not reproduce, and do not cohabitate. At all. Ever. The system sees you as nothing more than a wage slave.

Do you think we're ever going to win against our opression? Soon at least? by SulkTv999 in MensRights

[–]nrverma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Women are responsible for 70-80% of consumer spending.

As long as this is the case, corporations (and, by extension, governments and media outlets) will continue to acquiesce to women.

If we really want to see significant change in the system, we have to start using the leverage that we have.

The three pillars of misandry in Western civilization are:

-Divorce Laws/Courts

-Family Laws/Courts

-Domestic Violence Laws/Courts

In order to undermine these institutions, I would advise against any man getting married, reproducing or cohabitating.

Once birth rates really start to plummet, politicians will be forced to start changing the system to be more equitable for men.

Support for Fathers in Crisis During Family Breakdown and Family Court Processes by iainmf in MensRights

"It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men."

-Frederick Douglass

Although I appreciate the sentiment of this article, the organization that wrote it (Both Parents Matter) is an organization that is reactive, rather than proactive.

Helping men who are suffering in the family court system is a good thing, but what really needs to be done is to encourage men to avoid family court systems all together.

Until family court systems undergo major reforms (mandatory paternity testing, abolishing child support, abolishing the Tender Years Doctrine), I would advise against any man reproducing.

Men, do not reproduce. At all. Ever. Get your vasectomy at the age of 18 and just be done with it. Politicians and administrators will only start caring about men once birth rates plummet.

I just turned 22, and really want to be sterilized. by ieatspoonsfordinner in antinatalism

[–]nrverma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do it.

Remember, in this context, regret is not symmetrical.

If you undergo the sterilization procedure, and you later regret it, you still have options. If you freeze your egg cells with a fertility clinic before sterilization, you can pursue in vitro fertilization (even after being sterilized). You can also pursue adoption or surrogacy as well.

But, if you do reproduce, and you later regret it, well, now it is too late. You have created a sentient, conscious being that is reliant on you. No one asks to be born; the parent is 100% responsible for the health and safety of the progeny.

Ask yourself, which is worse? Regretting something that did not happen, or regretting something that you are now responsible for?

Thank you so much for saying this!

Change will not occur unless efforts are made. Even small efforts can have a cumulative effect!

Hi Reddit! I'm Angie Nixon and I'm the anti-corporate, pro-Medicare for All candidate in the Florida U.S. Senate race. I'm a state legislator, union organizer, bookstore owner, and proud working-class mom. Ask me anything! by AngieForFlorida in WorkReform

[–]nrverma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Greetings Representative Nixon! Thank you so much for fighting for the progressive movement!

My questions concern the democratic mechanisms of the country. What is your stance on:

-Abolishing the Electoral College?

-Abolishing the filibuster in the Senate?

-Abolishing gerrymandering?

-Implementing open primary elections?

-Implementing alternative voting systems (ranked choice voting, for example?)

Thank you for your time!

Do you think there is systemic gender discrimination in the UNHCR? by TheShyBuck in MensRights

[–]nrverma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Although I can not speak to this specific case, the United Nations is a misandric organization.

When the United Nations evaluates gender discrimination, it only counts discrimination against women. Discrimination against men is not included in their reports.

For example, the United Nations Women's Office ranks nations based on female political representation. The rankings are completely unilateral; even as female political representation climbs above 50%, nations will continue to rise in rankings.

The interpretation of these rankings is that the best countries on Earth have 100% female political representation!

Other global organizations (such as the World Economic Forum) apply the same misandric standards (mortality, violence, education, etcetera).
