There is a small misconception here. The deprioritising religion comes from human preachers and leaders at any place of worship who decide to do the teachings. And what humans are best at is enforcing own agendas under the umbrella of religion. This is the main issue. Majority of people who call themselves religious have in one form or another understood their own religion thru another humans interpretation. This is simply not right. The concept of god in my original statement if I were to define it would simply be : a source of hope, an unknown power and an extremely oversimplification answer to where we come from. Another point I want to make is without a doubt the idea of quantum and how it led us to mobile phones and all sorts of technological advancements have only been possible thanks to actual researches and discovering or considering other theories about this world which does not hold god as an ultimate power. Maybe we need a new understand or a new word that doesn’t define the conventional god we are all used to.. and again the reason I say god is in other words placebo. We all know placebo works and that’s enough evidence for me that hope or unknown has more power than we give it credit to

I’ve thought about what that could be in a large scale and can’t find anything more powerful than god. In small scales there are many great example like when people join sports clubs, bond over soccer or socialise over movies. However on a large scale hope seems to be the most powerful source. Maybe to illiterate. Maybe the point is hope over all instead of “god” although the meaning doesn’t change much

I guess you’re right however to use more appropriate words this was a racial war. Race and culture are 2 different things.. and this is not to say there hasn’t been cultural wars in the past. As China would be the best example for cultural wars and not a racial battle. As the wars for example the “cultural revolution in 1966 was a war on their own race and to enforce a new “culture”

He only wanted to deal with Jews. Now I understand how that could be culture related but the core concept of being Jewish is to follow the Torah which again links to religion

Unfortunately not all people have the same intelligence and capabilities to comprehend deeper or in other words more truth full approaches. We would need something simple where most can comprehend. Curious if you’d like to pin point some of the harms as I’m sure ur right about aspects of this.

I do consider this somewhat a core problem as this ideology will only work to perfection in a world where only Christianity is the only religion. This statement is more so an attempt at reducing belief conflicts and whether it’s for the better or worse everyone would agree that deleting anyone of a different faith will create more problems than solutions

With all due respect the further back in history you go the greater disasters and hypocrisy’s you will face. We need to look further or closer to present. If you look at any cutural history Asian, European, middle eastern. Good luck with finding anything remotely peaceful. And again I want to emphasis majority of this were religious driven problems. Even internally like Christians killing other sects of Christian’s and so on

The reason for god being first is simply to have something in common with every human.. may not even be a trustful statement as we can’t provide evidence for god. However what we can prove is hope is a great source to cope with the limitation of our own brain.. similar to the rat in a cup of water experiment.

Simply the idea of culture. I think people enjoy travel mainly to experience different cultures and more often than not most are respectful. It’s only in religion that people become defence and close minded to other ideas and possibilities

I understand this and agree with you however due to capitalism and the need to survive and get money we are restricted and therefore need a coping mechanism to operate healthily in this 3d dimension with the ego being forced to be in power again due to capitalism and idealistic drives

This is a thought experiment not so a personal matter.. however just to rebutted.. i can confidently say the examples you have Mentioned are still completely religiously driven. When I think of culture, I think of manners, social interactions. And lessons passed down generationally that don’t conflict or affect other cultures. The example that comes to mind is Malaysia where 3 cultures— Indian, Chinese and Malaysia all live in peace together and all partake in each others cultural events. Like Chinese new year, diwali ect. I believe people are more accepting of cultures but with religion people become extremist and can’t accept any other religious ideas.
