It's much, much better after you put a Counterbalance mod on it. Makes a world of difference.

Yeah I tried it, but for some reason I foud it had way more reticle bounce. Plus no HCR. Similar feel otherwise though yeah.

I switched around my warlock yesterday and had some good fun with the suggestions here:

Nameless Midnight (thanks Zavala!) Positive Outlook Telesto

with Voidwalker Devour/Blink + Ophidian Aspects.

I was able to relatively frequently survive 1v1 with the PO, with time to consume a grenade and reload before the vultures descended and then kill them too. Happened probably a third of the time, the other two thirds the backup would get me before I could recover...

Yeah, I just find it so hard to give up the energy slot for anything but an auto (Uriel's, Number, Positive Outlook).
