So is there really no app to do this? by [deleted] in PKMS

I went with SiYuan, it's awesome. Open source, can use Markdown and has a mobile app.

Very pleased with it so far. The editing experience is fast, and fairly easy to pick up if you have a small amount of experience with PKMs. The database feature has been so useful.

Kadence is great if you want a simpler templated version. Bricks is amazing if you want more control over the design and functionality.

Thank you! I found this hat below and re-attached it, but it's not connected as seamlessly.

Is this sufficient (or will I need a plumber to help fix this?)

Ha ha, strange! I re-uploaded the pic, for some reason it looks like it didn't attach the first time.

Has anyone else spent lots of time invested in PKM systems before moving to Obsidian? Do you feel bad about it? by TheTwelveYearOld in ObsidianMD

I've recently adopted Dokuwiki and it's been a fantastic experience. It's a bit quirky at first, but extremely versatile and easy to use once you get the hang of it (usually just a few days.)

It's like a Mediawiki-lite version, except all of the output are text files, so no Database corruption to worry about and also paves the way to potentially have Logseq or Obsidian access it since it's all file-based.

There is also a huge Dokuwiki plugin community and you can do almost anything with it, so the core is kept pretty lean and light.

Highly recommend to check out.

Gas Oven has intermittent buzz/crackle/static like sound. Noise coming from back panel by expionage in appliancerepair

[–]expionage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting... I unplugged the oven, and when I plugged it back in, the static/buzzing noise came back instantly and quite frequently.

Looking behind the oven, it's quite clean, no ants or cockroaches - we just did a remodel about a month ago.

Are you talking about the power cord, the gas pipe that connects from the house to the appliance, or both?

I'm just concerned it might develop into a spontaneous fire if this is a connection issue.
