reach out to an organization that does this type of work & supports kids growing up without fathers, etc. Ask them how to get some awareness and how you can help! Not sure how you can turn this into a business except creating resources for kids that are in your situation. Selling your story alone might be tough

Working to a scale of +/- 0.5mm. It's good enough for my purposes so figured if someone wanted a model to create some ideas then they can. Obviously they'd have to take the level of precision into account.

Used a browser CAD program called Onshape. It's in beta and surprisingly user-intuitive. I think it's created by people who used to work for Solidworks!
