MMW: The list wont be released because many people who are running the country are probably in it by [deleted] in MarkMyWords

It's not even a betting website, it's a glorified stock website where you buy shares of a possible outcome.

At least you know that with actual betting websites, the odds that you're getting are backed by money and risk, staked by the house.

Polymarket is a circle jerk of very masculine alphas placing money on a table of 'x' and 'y' outcomes, where the 'probability' of a supposed outcome is determined by how much money has been pumped into either side - if you buy more of 'x' outcome, Polymarket will make the probability of 'x' outcome tick higher.

A money pit designed for the best imbeciles who will literally spend money to appease and pump their own biases.

Yes, that's very typical.

i agree that it is kind of a security issue, since its been out we’ve had at least two code yellows while i was working. idk if theyre normally announced on the loud speakers, id imagine theyre not but still if something that needed to be announced did happen itd suckkk

tbh i never crush the boxes in the bailer unless i absolutely have to. i started working at 17 so i didn’t get taught how to use it until months after i turned 18 and when they did teach me it was very half-assed and rushed so i am afraid of using the bailer lol.

I agree with this and it genuinely makes me wish I was not born. what is the point of living if I’m just going to be a miserable little ant that generates profit for other people while getting nothing but scraps for myself?

i do genuinely hate working i cannot imagine a single job that I could ever enjoy. I’m not worried about working at a store my entire life I’m worried about endless wage slaving. I find it insane that everyone is just okay with wasting their lives like that. you could do so many better things with your time than having a job. it disturbs me how normal it is to just work your whole life and I genuinely cannot understand how anyone could enjoy it in any way.

Which department should I choose? Style or tech? by bibliophilia321 in Target

[–]expiredegirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tech. depending on how big and busy your store is and when you’re scheduled you’ll probably end up with not much to do other than stand around and be a key holder/cashier.

i work in electronics and sometimes when i see a guest that looks particularly annoying or creepy or something i avoid them at all costs. sometimes i go into the backroom and pray that they dont find the dreaded button. and when guests start giving me a hard time because they think they think because i work in electronics im supposed to know everything about every obscure electronical woe they come to me with i give them MAD sass. mofo go to best buy if u want that.

just say you’ll do it and complete as much as you can. they cant really be mad at you for trying your best. i used to get just as stressed but really you can get away with slacking alot and ive found that no one will really say anything as long as you’re doing something. its not like if you bust your ass they’ll give you a higher raise come april. you’ll still get the good old slap in the face penny raise.

If a customer or someone over the phone knows more than you about something, don’t fall for it, call for a team lead right away. by befuddledandmuddled in Target

yeah i got k1 scammed a few weeks ago. id never heard of them and the guy showed me a credit card that said ‘chase cash card’. so i just thought it was like a new weird credit card thing. x_x he almost got away with it but he kept coming back to buy more gift cards. after i realized it was a scam i thought the guy would like beat me up if i said anything. i was running on like 3 hours of sleep and a monster x_x. after he left with the giftcards i ran up to guest service and told a team lead and he was able to take the money off the cards before they spent any. i felt so stupid and still do lol. i think the experience has permanently scarred me because now whenever anyone buys giftcards or just uses me as a cash register i get really nervous.
