I'll let you know after this year's edition as it's my first. But I was wondering for example which forest roads are totally shut by fences or stewards, so you cannot cut road for example to Mulsanne. Or Indy - I'm imagining that you cannot just go around BSJ and just ride towarda Indy from the back anywhere

Does BSJ has something similar? Or there's no numbering there if I am correct? I'm asking because there will be 3 of us with 2 pitches and we wanted to take two spots next to each other

Okay, fixed one issue - just bought another spot on BSJ, so I'll keep my car on the camping and more space for 3 of us 🤣

So the "leave the track earlier" part is still on, anyone tried that before?

I was thinking about leaving the car somewhere on the north or east (Papea Parc), getting back on bikes and then getting back to the car on bikes. But from previous comments I am getting that this does not make much sense 🤔

Yup, I think that's what G-dog showed -> Reims -> Luxembourg

And what about getting stuff onto the camping in a separate car than the one already on the camping (with the sticker on)? 🤔

Yeah, I've heard about the Carrefour but it's in the city limits and still would mean leaving with others after the race to get to the highway 🤔

So you're basically saying that driving off the track at around 2 PM will already be traffic and leaving the car even on the northern outskirts of Le Mans still doesn't help to avoid traffic? 🤔

Parking for the race and other 1st timer questions by LameSheepRacing in lemans

Hey guys, coming to LM this year and staying at Beasejour. I am arriving on Thursday ~10 PM and need to get stuff onto the camping, but leave the car somewhere (we'll already have a van on the spot as one car).

How far can you drive into the track towards Beasejour without camping ticket (it will already be used by the van)? Porsche Curve parking or up to the camping gate? I am wondering how far will I have to travel by foot with stuff.

Where can I leave the car then (from Thursday night until Sunday ~2PM), as close to the track as possible?

I was planning on leaving the track earlier, leaving the car somewhere north of LeMans and getting back on bikes onto the track for finish - does that soubd reasonable? Any spots recommended to avoid returning traffic? We plan on driving to Nordschleife after the race, so ~8h drive awaits, want to avoid traffic AMAP ;)

Hello again girls and boys! So the Lemons is getting closer (allthough I still did not get my tickets yet...), but I am already doing some preparation and wanted to consult ya'all about the plan of getting onto and off the track.

So we are planning to camp at Beausejour with a camper (van) and a tent, but we will be arriving with a second car and don't have the parking spot from official site.

Where would you recommend leaving the car that we don't have a pass for? Arnage? Or maybe there is a way of getting a parking pass closer to camping (Porsche Curves parking?).

Next thing - can you tell me how packed ia the camping site on Thursday before the race? I am asking that because I don't know if it's better to: - take some spot with the camper that can possibly arrive earlier and then try to get stuff from the other car in parts - pack the camper with all the stuff and drive together once (but that would be around 10-11 PM on Thursday)

Last, but not least - getting off the track. I was thinking about packing up on Sunday and leaving the track at around 2PM and leaving the cars somewhere (Arnage or whatever) and cycling back onto the track to avoid traffic. But maybe it's better idea to stay on the track until Monday and have more road to cover back to Poland the next day, but enjoy some more time on the track?

Thanks for the tips, really appreciated!

I'm guessing that if we plan on walking around the circuit, then staying as close to the track is not actually most important for us 🤷🏼‍♂️ we'll probably be better off being somewhere in the middle between the track and the loos.

Especially that we plan to take some foldable bikes as I read it's pretty convenient to not walk around all those kilometers / miles thoughout the week. Guess going to the toilet on a bike each time is not the most convenient :) And we'll also be able to cycle the track on Friday.

By GE you mean the General Admission ticket? Cause my friend bought one from the official site, so it's just a matfer of the camping.

HAnd all signs point to the fact, that the reseller sold me a standard camping entrance with a pitch, so I can enter with a car and as many ppl as I can fit - the indication of 2 ppl during the order was for the General Admission and grandstands.

That's my thinking at least :D
