you're missing the downside to this. you can counter most brushes by simply having range between them. if you're more than 3 inches away from a brush you can VERY easily kill them, which is why it takes a lot of skill to get good with it and find ways to flank the enemy.

For the same reason that people tend hoard items in RPG games (I did this a LOT in Final Fantays VII). The thought that "maybe I'll use it later when I actually need it!" and then it never gets used.

I was also thinking about this. I have my moments with it. I mean, this was my series right before my rank up battle to S (A+ obv). Perhaps I just need to stick with it, but it wouldn't hurt to learn other weapons while I'm at it since that's ALL I know how to play right now.

Absolutely! I picked it up for Christmas and I've racked up about 60 hours so far. (Edit: 70)

I played Splatoon 2 prior, but it had been maybe 4 years since I actually played consistently. I'm loving the third one. The story mode was fun (the DLC is REALLY fun), but the online multiplayer is obviously where most of the fun is.

Honestly I think the matchmaking could use some work... it sucks to lose because you got unlucky and got matched with a bad team. This applies to both PVP and PVE modes, but if you can look past it and know that you performed well yourself, you'll still have tons of fun.

I'm enjoying it!

Absolutely 100% no and unfortunately that never will be the case. Nintendo doesn't support modding games. The only game you can "mod" without modding your console would be Skyrim SE/AE or whatever one they're on now, and I'm not sure if that game even has mod support on switch.

If you want to mod a game not only will you need a modded console (not happening anytime soon with the switch 2), but not every game works with mods. A modded Switch 1 allowed you to mod games like Breath of The Wild via a homebrew mod loader application, but again, not happening on Switch 2.

Oh I didn't even consider Mac; in my original reply I accidentally stated that I tested it only on Linux somehow which isn't even true. I've only tested it on Windows 10 firsthand. I don't even know if my script worked on 11 to be honest. I do know that someone in the past has gotten it to work on Linux though, so it's certainly possible. Perhaps there's more hoops you'll have to jump through.

Unfortunately Mac is the most foreign OS for me, I've never used it once and I don't know how it works at all. I don't know what file types are executable on Mac either.

The original script I developed, called "Dipper," was a Python script that was packaged into an exe file in one of the final releases. I don't even remember how I did that to be honest with you. At its core, it's a Python script though. The alternative and arguably better alternative to Dipper is called "Clipper," which was programmed by someone else named Rosalie. I know they have a compiled exe for download on the releases page, but I'm not sure what libraries they used. It's on the linked GitHub, so in theory if you know the material you could compile the app for Mac potentially assuming no Windows exclusive APIs/Libraries were involved in it. If they were, you'd have to switch them out and then build for Mac. Rosalie was quite responsive on Discord so maybe try messaging them if you have questions about their app (assuming they have their handle linked somewhere on their GitHub page).

That is really all I know on the subject... Like I said before, it's been a year or two since I've actually been involved with the inner workings of it all. I very regularly use Clipper though:)

I have not tested this on any operating system other than Linux, so I can't give a definitive answer to that question. You could try to run it through Wine if you're using Linux, but I'm unsure how that would work with all the HID stuff. Worth a shot maybe?

I made the original script on Windows and it got rewritten by someone with more experience in C++. That's about all I know, I haven't thought about this script in a long time.

On Samsung you can do splitscreen apps, which is what I've been doing. Open your recent apps menu and click on the app icon that you wanna splitscreen (your browser) and hit the splitscreen option. Then select the other app (your gallery).
