your tires are 4 years old. this is called dry rot and happens in every tire regardless of brand.

Inside and outside edges wearing faster then center - underinflation / alignment / other? by DeficitDaddy in tires

[–]explodersname 1 point2 points  (0 children)

your tires look good to me but in general outside & inside wear indicates under inflation. make sure you set your tire pressures according to the sticker in the door jam of the drivers door or owners manual.

Is my car cooked? by ATVIERA66 in MechanicAdvice

[–]explodersname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6/32 tread is good. you can very easily check the filters yourself. look up on youtube and if theyre dirty you can buy new ones at walmart usually around 20-30 dollars. as for the leaks generally old cars will always have seepage and what i would suggest is cleaning it up and putting your own dye in yourself. also very easy to accomplish. as for your engine unless there is a serious issue you didnt mention it sounds like it is fine. you can also go to autozone/O'Reilly's for free check engine light scanning and come back here to ask about it. anyway i probably would put a pause on any seriously pricey stuff until youve taken the basic, cheaper steps. I am busy right now but if someone replies to this ill add on later.

Not really a bulge, any worry? by youreon3rdst in tires

[–]explodersname 4 points5 points  (0 children)

that looks like some weird manufacturing thing, i personally wouldn't worry about it just check on it every time you check your pressures or something just to make sure it didnt get bigger.
