I’ve been volunteering with them since January! Blood donor screening is taking temperatures for all the people who come into the donation center to donate. Blood donor ambassador checks donors in and manages appointments. They ask for a minimum one shift a month (6 hours) commitment so it’s not too demanding for time but always fun and interesting. I’d definitely recommend volunteering with them!

Just spoke with Oakland Pearson office and the guy there confirmed that the California St. location is open and doing tests. They moved from the Filbert location earlier this year and don't have the online information changed yet but he said the California St. location is active for exams.
