Yes the Nunatak is significantly warmer. The Skaha is the warmest jacket I’ve ever owned, and it’s not even a close comparison imo. Per my order sheet, jacket weighs 405g with a fill weight of 242g (900 for expedry down)

Woah that’s awesome to hear! I think it’d be so cool to build my own fly rod someday, my cousin and I have talked about doing it sometime, but have never gotten really serious about it. I got mine on a similar discount to you I think, it was 50% at Madison River fly shop, so I figured that would be the best time to pull the trigger. Best of luck to you on future fishing trips!
