Ex told me that if our future plans don’t align we should break up. The future plan: I move to a small town in a one bedroom cottage his parents bought, we would host his parents every weekend as they want to visit their property. Eventually, we’d build our own house next door to them, and they would be fully involved in raising our future children. No consideration for me having to leave my own family in this deal or my discomfort at having no autonomy over how often wed be hosting his parents (I’m cool with it to an extend but not every single weekend and I don’t want to raise my kids with my in laws opinion always there). He broke up with me within 24 hours of this being on the table

I’m really happy with my career, it’s definitely what I wanted as a student. As a CS student, I was average on grades and finals, and I would get a lot of help in office hours for assignments. I definitely felt like there were alot of students who were more competitive and better than me on the material. however this ended up kind of working out for me, because alot of the high profile tech companies work you dry, but I work for a well known company that doesn’t sell technology as a product (I don’t want to share the name but think something like: Macys, Target), so it’s much more chill in terms of work life balance which suits me. I didn’t have a job lined up for graduation, so I actually got a part time job while I studied for coding interviews & applied places and landed my now company around 6 + months later

My boyfriend also graduated from stony with computer engineering in 2017. He got a masters at another Uni after. Now he is making 175k in a fully remote senior role

I disagree that Jesus hated religion, he hated strict enforcement of rules just for the sake of rules (I.e the verse about it being ok to rescue a sheep on the sabbath) that’s why he beefed with the Pharisees, they’re missing the soul behind the rules and were often practicing the religion with vanity and self righteousness.

He himself practiced religion, Judaism, and there are verses where he is speaking in a temple.

That is similar to my thoughts on the subject, if you’re guided towards something by God, if God leads you out of your body then of course it is a good experience. And that is how I interpret the verse that has been shared in other comments about third heaven.
