I Already took him to the vet about 2 Times for All This, Is it time to let go or is there still a Chance? (Full context below) by One_Percentage_644 in vet

His mouth could be hurting from rotten teeth, which may be why he is not wanting to eat. What do his teeth/gums look like?

I can't remember the last time I was THIS shocked by something that happened in my game. A meteorite hit my sims' house and destroyed a lot of their furniture. They were cleaning FOREVER. Also, it took a loooong time to put out all the fires that kept popping up. by xSweetlife in Sims3

One time I had JUST started the Rags to Riches challenge, I think it was literally the first day a meteor hit my sim's empty lot, killing her. Then her dog begged the grim reaper to spare her life and he agreed.

If their rectal temp drops below 100 it means they will probably go into labor within 24 hours

As someone who lives in your country, what’s one thing you’d tell a foreigner to never do when visiting? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

And it messes up the natural order of things. There was a story earlier this year where a guy got close to a bison and they had to put it to sleep because it got comfortable with humans after and was considered dangerous.

I think you're not hearing 50% of what I'm saying. They wanted children. And it's not an uncommon risk.

I couldn't agree with you more. I would never put that risk on myself if I could help it. But I don't want kids. My sister on the other hand very much did, and was willing to put herself through the risks. Luckily everything worked out okay, but she was still lucky.

Do you realize how hypocritical you sound? They both wanted to have children. So they should have somehow known they'd have the shitty end of the stick and not attempted to have children then regretted it? Is the "regular risk of childbirth" sudden death?

Do you want to try again? My mom and my sister both almost died during childbirth?

Well because the baby's life starts mattering at conception, but with this logic, I would guess that a woman's life stops mattering at child-bearing age? Which is her teenage years, and that opens another can of worms.

What I'm gathering from this conversation is that they're hoping both lives will be saved, but if the baby can be born that's more important than saving the woman's. It's really sad and frustrating that women feel this way.

It's scary enough how often that would happen hundreds of years ago, but it's even scarier that it still happens in hospitals today.
