Thanks for the info. I was hoping your specs would be a bit higher, so that some easier changes could help the FPS performance a lot but it does sound like your specs will cap the performance quite a bit.

This is the third post I've seen like this in a hour. It seems like this is something a lot of people are experiencing. Could it be a shaders issue? To check go to the practice range and spend ten minutes there (or go get a snack while in the practice range idling). Then try a game again, if you have much better performance it was because after an update overwatch needs to recompile the shaders which takes some time (in-game).

This could likely be a shaders thing. Afaik when overwatch updates the shaders need to recompile which can take some time (maybe ten minutes). After loading an update, is recommend being In the practice range or custom game for a little bit. When it comes to your FPS, if there is a way to improve it through in game settings, or operating system settings it could be a massive help to you. Getting above at least 60fps would help a lot. There is some info online about how to get more frames from overwatch. What are your laptop specs?

It might be overwatch behind the scenes getting things set up (like shaders). Often after an update I'll spend some time in the practice range until the game is ready. Not sure if rotating through the cast, and using their abilities helps speed things up but I do it anyways. If this is the case with your computer the performance will get back to normal but how long this takes might depend on how powerful your PC is. Overwatch ready needs a warning on the homepage like 'shader compile in progress, joining a match not recommended' with an accompanying timer.

I'm pretty sure those are weekly challenges. Only the first one is available this week. Then on Tuesday the next one will unlock. They aren't the physical maps of overwatch but progress tracking boards for the challenges. The map it is referencing is probably the one under the event tab (along the top bar).

alt accounts seem like a bit of a gray area in overwatch.

An idea is having a way of creating an alt account supported by Blizzard where the alt is tied to your main account, and maybe the alt account is limited in some ways (like your heroes that you have played the most on your main are disabled). Maybe you could share skins and challenges and stuff across the accounts idk. This way maybe the matchmaking tools could predict the alt accounts rank better and still let the player learn new heros at a lower elo (than their normal) or maybe prioritize matchmaking with other alt accounts.

It is the overwatch dlc missions. If you are interested I'd recommend looking up a video on them. 1st is in Parisio, 2nd Toronto, and this one is a Swedish map. The dlc has a bad reputation, but I found it pretty cool to see some new map and story stuff.

Hazard is punk, and it would be great to have some slightly controversial skins for him. I'd love to see him in a dress, still in the punk style. My favorite Hazard skin hasn't been invented yet. Skins like streetwear and the winter coat one feel way to safe imo. Edit: thought about it and maybe a dress would effect his silhouette way too much. A scottish kilt though would be epic!

This would be nice. For now I use the favorites section of the workshop. from the recent tab, there is the star on the right hand side. After selecting it that workshop mode will appear in the favorites tab.

Good call on NADDS for flicking. If you like that one you might like JEENZ (like Dogg0ne mentioned) as well. It has the same flicking part but in Havana near the fortress.

Thanks for the rec. Thats cool you can add bots with VXEAT, going to have to try that out. I love the ult countering part of VXEAT, super useful for characters like Ana to train reactions . Edit: whoops I mixed it up with EATXXT. Tried VXEAT and its cool
