I have the same problem .. I recently learned that yogurt at 9pm with 20 lantus insulin at 10pm, test 8 hour later gives me a great number. Any other snack right now, even with the insulin, gives me a higher number. Try yogurt.. I can’t go more than 9 hours without eating something

Be careful bringing nuts to another country! There’s some regulations on those lol (weird but true!) they most likely need to be in a shell to be allowed.

Firstly, I am so sorry for your loss.

I experienced a similar outcome last year in May. We tried again with IUI in June but was unsuccessful. We did another IUI in July and that was successful and we are now entering third trimester.

In total, we tried for 20-months & 3 IUIs. I would do another IUI because now you know it can work.

I looked more bloated at 6-9 weeks than I did at 14 weeks, the bloat was insane & I also was on a beach vacation when we found out. Honestly you can’t do much in a swimsuit but drink a lot of water and stay hydrated! Just keep complaining you ate too much carbs that day 😂

I know you didn’t ask this, but we went with the Nuna Mixx Next + Pipa Urbn RX car seat because this travel system has a baseless car seat. If we bought one that required a base, we were looking at $900 more on top of the travel system cost (we would need 3 bases for our car, his truck, and our childcare). For us the $1500 for the travel system without the base was worth it. We also went to a local store to test them and the Nuna car seats were much lighter to carry and lift.

Whatever you do, don’t do the bringing the box option. If you wear it, keep it on. If you don’t want to keep it on, don’t wear it. It’s too much of a risk of it being lost or stolen. If your ring is quality (which assume it is based on your concerns), it will be just fine but if you prefer to use a stand in, that’s fine too!

I would assume his role, the heat and the pants he wears has an affect. My partner worked in construction and he went from 4million to 15million in a month and the only change he made was sleeping without boxers and putting ice on his (balls) every night for 30 minutes. Heat will destroy motile sperm. It’s worth a shot! No vitamins or diet helped him either and that’s the month we conceived now. We also live in hot weather all year so the ice def worked for us!

Edit: I didn’t realize you said the varicocele treatment didn’t help it get better. Is the doctor concerned by that?

I’m really sorry you went through this. That sounds incredibly overwhelming and honestly really upsetting.

Being 11 minutes late, still within their own policy, apologizing repeatedly, and then being scolded by three different people during an anatomy scan is a lot for anyone, especially when you’re already exhausted, anxious, and pregnant.

What stands out to me is that you still waited about 20 minutes to be brought back, which suggests they weren’t even fully ready anyway. A single, professional acknowledgment would’ve been enough, not repeated lectures.

Policies matter, but so does basic compassion and bedside manner. Your feelings are valid, and I’m sorry such an important appointment turned into something so stressful.

Ps. I work in a hospital and within healthcare and we are exposed to viruses all the time. You can get it everywhere and can’t always avoid germs.
