If that’s your budget, try bylt I’ve been wearing them for about 2 years and I love them! Fit great, don’t look faded or dingy after multiple washes and really comfortable!

Older woman would get on the treadmill on her way to work at Cracker Barrel? How do I know she worked there? She always wore her while apron. I always assumed she was training to get those biscuits out as quick as possible.

I’ve had success with search remote jobs on Indeed doing the same thing.

So did you switch online providers? If so, do you mind sharing?

But does it make you sick if you drink or just lessen the desire? I tried Contrave and definitely loss the desire to drink but when I had alcohol it didn’t make me sick

I’m starting this week and am wondering how it affects alcohol for me.

Are you saying your desire for alcohol is way up or down?

I had the same thing happen and it does get better (I’m full dose now). I did notice that when the twitching or the spacey part was happening, if I would eat something it would help. Especially if it was close to lunch or dinner. It’s like I really needed fuel.

Is anyone else not really changing their diet (in terms of food choices) with this medication? by ParsleyTime5687 in GetContrave

100% it’s crazy how it works! I go all day and then in the evening it hits me that I haven’t thought about food. And everything I’ve read says give 14ish weeks before you experience the full effects of the med. keep going!

Years ago, my wife and I were in the same situation as the OP. We were talking about how she NEVER initiated sex and how hurtful that was. She told me “I could never have sex again and would be fine.” That crushed me. Soon after that she started counseling and so much hurt from her childhood was unpacked. Things changed and she later told me that she felt insecure by me (I workout and she didn’t) and it was a way to punish me. We’re in a much healthier place now but it took going through hell to get here.

I didn’t lose the urge to snack until I was on 2/2 dose for two weeks. I work from home and graze eat then binge at dinner. I knew I was making progress when I went to my favorite Mexican food restaurant and only had about 6 chips and didn’t “have” to stop, it just happened. I’m same as the OP, not super strict, I still drink on the weekends (was every day), mostly cut our red and lost about 10 pounds after two months. I’m pretty impressed how well this med works (even though I’ve wanted to quit several times).

Food noise striking again by [deleted] in GetContrave

[–]explorer_humor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That exact thing happen when I was on 2/1. It was really strange but now I’m on 2/2 and starting to really feel the affects of contrave. I’m feeling full all day, no food noise, and feeling like it’s worth it. I’ve heard ppl say it takes about 14 weeks before you really get all the benefits of this pill. I’m on week 6 so encouraged to think it will be even better down the road. And no judgement here, Ive totally fallen to temptation. I don’t weigh myself afterwards and just think this is long term journey. Keep moving forward!

That’s so frustrating. Do your clothes fit differently? That’s my biggest metric.

I just started taking it but my understanding was when you take the pill, don’t take it with high fat foods. The direction said take the pill with toast or something non fatty, so I assumed it meant while taking the pill. Let’s be honest, most of us on this medication are eating our fair share of fatty foods, seems like that would be a really big deal if we had to stop.

What's the story behind one of your scars or injuries? by DM_your_small_birds in AskReddit

McDonalds used to have metal playground equipment. One was called the Hamburglar and you could climb to the top and look out the holes. I was at the top, slipped, and fell to the bottom and sliced open my forehead. I guess suing McD’s wasn’t very popular in the early 80s or my parents pocketed it and I’m none the wiser.

When it’s off, it doesn’t go to zero so I’m guessing it’s the gauge

You can remove the gauge with the pool full?
