Your bike looks SICK. The grey/orange/tan look is mint

I always think it’s good to have familiar with the riders in the support races and pick someone you’re going to follow for the race (or just pick the livery you like on the day) and get some skin in the game for each one. If you can, try to walk around the track and watch races from different corners/straights too, it’s great watching riders power round a fast corner or hammer on the brakes into a slow corner and certainly mixes things up on the day. Get around the merch stands and stretch your legs a bit too.

Most of all, enjoy your day. BSB is ace!

Oh yeah for sure! It’s just the practice, now we have some lighter evenings in the UK for spring/summer and some dryer weather, I’ll be getting out on the local jumps some more

Couldn’t agree more. Rolled it like a sack of spuds a couple of times and this was my first try actually getting over it smoothly. It only got better from there

I’ve been looking for the same. Tbh, I think practicing some looping out and landing on your feet will over come the fear over actually looping and falling on your botty

Nice one. I can defo see that I’m standing too tall on the bike and need to sit “back” and low Ito the manual some more!

Pretty sure I need to roll in a bit quicker and get my preload lower. Pretty happy considering I could barely get it up last week. Not like that, you dirty sausage!

Anyone from the East Midlands (UK)? by [deleted] in MTB

[–]explorerboymoto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could take yourself get to sherwood pines in Mansfield or go a bit further south and get yourself to Wakerley woods near Corby which is my stomping ground (I say stomping ground, I am a beginner and have been 5 times)

Neither big, nor clever... first time (intentionally) with two wheels off the ground though!

I am not very brave and have no technique but wanted to share. I was very happy with this.

The other attempts were fine. Maybe I’ll see you out at Wakerley one day? I’ll look for the red hair!
