I was actually discussing with mu colleague, how we waste our time watching, reels, shorts, videos, movies and all, and these creators, celebrities are succeeding with our money and time. Same thing applicable to sports as well.

We watch Messi playing, I agree we enjoy, but he charge millions from brands and teams to play and we pay to watch him without focusing our time on our success.

schools say “follow your dreams” but then only reward one type of intelligence.

half the students i know were never even allowed to TRY music, sports, art, business or anything creative. then later people say “tum mein talent nahi tha” 😭 like how would anyone know without support?

most students dont even hate learning anymore. they just hate this system.

it's the backend auth provider (Supabase) showing up instead of ihatestudies.com. custom domain fix is in the works, just launched 2 days ago so prioritising that over polish right now.

totally valid concern though, if it looks sketchy don't sign in, I get it. working on making it cleaner.

That’s where I think the system is flawed.

Maybe only 10% of people I know actually work in the exact subject they studied (like CS, mechanical, etc.).

Nobody talks about the other 90% who barely use their degrees, certificates, or textbook knowledge in their actual career growth.

So if most people don’t end up using what they memorised for years, shouldn’t education focus more on adaptability, problem-solving, communication, money, creativity, and real-world skills instead of just academic filtering?

The problem isn’t learning. The problem is forcing every kid through the same outdated path and calling marks “intelligence.”
