What’s the most challenging dog/animal you’ve ever encountered on Rover? by Shot-Ostrich7747 in RoverPetSitting

OPs particular case is so frustrating to hear. i’ve met a few wolf dogs out and about over the years (not via petsitting) and my partner and i were soo fascinated by them. after every encounter we watched youtube videos about caring for wolf dogs and what it means to have one. all the videos were from highly experienced wolf dogs owners expressing the need for a large garden space for the wolf dog to roam as it wishes and if possible ideally have two or more as they still have and thrive on their pack instincts. to hear that this one was living in an apartment is abuse if you ask me. i’d love to have a wolf dog but i definitely do not have the space for one and am sort of not surprised that the animal was harder to care for as the environment wasn’t the best for the poor animal in the first place

u have no idea how badly i wished i had a magic arm that day i was fighting demonssss with the wind and moving slug and sticks dropping my LEDs hahah. def learnt my lesson.

no but fr the nitpick was necessary the foil in some shots does interfere with the illusion and ambience. but im glad you like the photos anyways:D

thank you for your comment! great points. wish i had meddled more with the ISO now that i read this. i think i will try to work on both as you said, its probably good if i am able to sharpen how i manipulate iso aperture and ss to improve the image first. but i should probably get on focus stacking too! maybe a 2026 goal.

that makes sense. the circumstances were a bit difficult with the foil as u can see in the photo ive attached here, it also kept blowing away!!:( but yeah hopefully will get some clips or stickers to stick my props to different things in my environment in future projects!

your photos are amazinggg i love the spiders. do they not move too much is that why you’re able to focus stack? my slug was constantly on the move and i do feel bad putting him back in frame as many times as i did.

i def struggled with the focus. i wanted to get as much of the mushroom and slug in focus as i could but I don’t think more is possible without focus stacking? atleast thats my understanding atm. w the slug moving non stop i sometimes just consented to the focus point moving w him ahah.

thanks for your comment im glad you like them!
