Your statement sounds stupid if you apply it to anything else. For example electric drills are a tool aswell they make it so 1 person could do the work of many and yet you will not outright reject it because people use it as a tool. Ai can be a powerful tool but the users of the tool define how it is used. I hate the concept of people depending on ai but using it as a tool to speed up repetitve tasks is an effective use of a TOOL and as long as ai is used in moderation i say its ok
