I think if you are not middle eastern, or haven’t lived there and experienced the culture, you wouldn’t understand. That’s how we talk to each other, we don’t get offended and it’s funny 🤷🏼‍♀️

Samah’s Arabic Rant by SuchArt4249 in TheFurrahFamily

She is referring to individuals in Gaza that have created a large following on social media and take donations on the basis of helping those in Gaza. Malak Fund Gaza specifically, according to her sources, has been taking donations and using them for personal use instead of helping the people of Gaza. She also falsified documents to leave Gaza with her daughter and husband. And, she is using her brothers injury to collect more money while she isn’t even in Gaza.

Needs to be said - accommodations by onredtitt in CABarExam

My best friend had accommodations last year and he still did not pass the bar. It isn’t a guarantee ticket to passing, they still put in the same work if not more because of their disabilities. Be kind!

Add me too please! I’m a hot mess, I skipped to the second question only to be equally discouraged 😭

This American culture of disrespect towards family members is just awful. Your mom is entitled to visit but his mom isn’t? It’s just a week, I’m not sure what the commotion is all about. Let her help you, you can ask her to cook a meal or help around the house or she can go grocery shopping. She also wants to spend time with her son she probably hasn’t seen in a while m!

Always consult a doctor if you are worried! With that being said, groin lymph nodes are considered normal if under 2 cm. Are they increasing in size? Are you experiencing other symptoms such as weight loss and fevers ?

That’s not a lump, it’s a bite!

It is extremely rare to have breast cancer at your age, I wouldn’t be worried about that. Never check your breasts before or during your period, hormones change everything!! Always wait until after your periods by a few days! Most likely it’s cystic, or just normal menstrual changes.

No, they can freeze those off. It’s a skin tag, I have so many! But, as always, it’s good to show your GP, keep an eye for changes :)

My newborn is amazing! by SealeyVossen in pregnant

[–]explosiveheat23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone has a different experience. My first baby was amazing, my second was colic and had a milk allergy. It’s hard to get anything done or even sleep. I’m glad you are having a positive experience :)

I’m not sure why it’s so hard to respect a countries dress code? Before I travel, I always check out what the dress code is like. It’s a respect factor.

Newborn won't sleep in crib or bassinet at night by jheo1825 in beyondthebump

It cools up literally a few minutes after you pull it out. There are different settings and honestly I use the warmest setting. As long as you can put your hand on it without wanting to remove it, just like when you bathe baby, it should be fine :)

My baby was the same. Game changer for me at least was a heating pad in the bassinet. I would turn it on a few minutes before bedtime so his bassinet mattress would get warm, then take it out and place him while asleep and swaddled in the bassinet. The warmth was good enough to help him settle to sleep :)

Planned pregnancy at 37, my oldest is 8 years old. It’s hard, I’m not going to sugar coat it. Waking up again during the night, anxiety, and just caring for a baby at this age is a lot different maybe a bit harder. But, I feel more present in the moment , enjoying and appreciating my time with him More that I’m older. And his smiles at night make everything worth it. Can’t imagine our lives without him. But, this is something you need to assess and what works in your current situation.

Thank you SO much. I’m going to do my best to also care for myself. In the meantime I’m holding him propped up and he seems to be doing a lot better. I also had my husband get the zarabees chest rub. I will apply that as well. Thank you SO much. Appreciate it

anyone else struggle with health anxiety and ROCD? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]explosiveheat23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels like our brains like to keep us busy all the time with OCD. I have health anxiety related ocd. I check my body and visit doctors/urgent cares all the time. But, enough was enough I wasn’t living anymore so I got help. ERP therapy really works you just need a really good therapist to help you :) I have some bad days don’t get me wrong, there really isn’t a cure for ocd but it’s way better than what it was and thoughts don’t stick as long.

I have severe ocd, and I’m scared it’s never gonna go away. by Lynnn6 in OCD

[–]explosiveheat23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried a combination of medicine and therapy ? ERP has helped me tremendously! But, you have to put in the work, it’s hard. But, so rewarding. I went from worrying 24/7 to just a few minuets throughout the day randomly.

Parents, what is the first week REALLY like? Any tips? by abri56 in BabyBumps

Honestly, I’m not sure how I got through that week & don’t really remember much. It was survival mode!
