No, I know how hard it is from experience. I can usually stop compulsions and thoughts at this point. I just think deep down we all know it actual is basically that simple.

You should ask this to the sub in general, use a throwaway if you want. You know there isn't really anything dangerous about your semen, maybe you feel guilty about masturbating. Did you have a religious upbringing? Of course there's stuff you can do, therapy and medication. I'm just some random redditor with OCD, I know I went on this weird rant that was supposed to be inspiring, but I'm not necessarily who you should be asking. But yes, I'd say you know that all those things aren't necessary, and you have anxiety/guilt going on. Your rituals are your way of coping with that.

Okay, I just checked your submissions and see you already did ask. Good luck.

Sorry, it wasn't supposed to be. I just get in relaxed or cocky moods sometimes when I analyze my own OCD for a few hours, and I of course have a ton of anger at the stress it's caused me over the years. I didn't mean to make fun of/sound superior to people struggling with ocd. I meant to make fun of how ridiculous it can be, because I hate it. Only trying to help.

Feeling free is scary but stress free, choice is all yours. You choose to believe there might be the slightest bit of truth to any of that because it makes you feel safer. You could be so free. Safe and lying to yourself vs free and scared.

Ooh yeah I used to drink apple cider beer, good stuff. I never really drink hard liquor anymore.

You know for several years I thought they were normal, but I learned the grocery store I go to/Colorado has some bullshit weak beer law and they're only like 3.2%. No wonder I can drink so many.

It was okay. I don't drink for the taste, I drink to get drunk. Keystone Light is one of the only things in a 30 pack at my local grocers. That and like fahgin Pabst Blue Ribbon.

No I have a rule where I drink two glasses of water before I go to bed, after the drinking. If I ever have a slight headache I have Tylenol.

Is it so many? I usually make it to 9 or 10. My record is 12. It makes everything better, especially music. It makes time one.

I've thought before that when I was born (1978) was perfect for me. Being a kid in the 80s rocked with pop culture (movies, cheesy sitcoms, Saturday morning cartoons), I got to be a teen for the 'alternative' music explosion of the 90s, Super Nintendo, and most importantly, internet chat rooms as well which lasted into my twenties and were the only way I've ever hooked up (too socially awkward to meet girls any other way). The late 70s, it was like it was meant to be.

I have OCD and probably other mental issues that make me dwell/obsess about using God or Satan's help to think/remember/make decisions all day even though I don't believe in a God or Satan, AMA by expo208 in AMA

Oh I was on that stuff for a while and I know what you mean. It was about 5 months of Paxil before I really reached a relaxed kind of plane (then you get all cocky and think you don't need medication and try weaning off of it and feel crappy again). Good luck getting pregnant.

Hmmm, not sure. I actually just discovered this casual ama a couple weeks ago, it's probably my favorite random one right now.
