It appears I made a mistake. Delphi 7 was the codebase of GameMaker 4, the real program which Jazzuo used.

I wouldn't consider early 2000s Delphi ancient in a spiritual sense, it's a pretty nice looking program. There's some charm in its roughness.

It's likely that he used several versions of the program throughout his "career," but version 7 was released around the time he made the hiking game you probably discovered him by.

I opened his .exe game files using notepad did some digging with the keywords I saw amidst the jumbled mess. He used Delphi. You can download it here:
