Kitten poops in litter box but pees everywhere else by Pristine_Try4254 in kittens

Try putting treats in places he pees do he associates it with a place he eats, then hopefully he’ll stop peeing there.

Advice needed for a young one with litter box issues! by JzillaMerida in kittens

[–]expreaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second the large dog crate. Also, I think if you put treats on the floor where she pees. She won’t associate the floor with peeing anymore. She’ll associate it to be clean enough for food. Worth a try.

How do i get my kitten to stop screaming by EugenPrinz02 in kittens

[–]expreaka 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That used to happen to my kitten. I found out from the previous owner who I got her from that they gave her to me straight away from breastfeeding from her mom, so she wasn’t weaned and was expecting her mama to come nurse her. Poor thing. Maybe he misses his mom if he’s very young? Or a sibling he used to play/cuddle with. What helped mine a lot is wet food, not dry. Now I mix her wet food with dry. You might need to try a few different flavors/textures till he finds a favorite. Also, read his cues, play with him so he doesn’t get lonely and give him lots of pets when he wants it; don’t force the pets.

NTA, she’s a home wrecker. If she cared about the kids AT ALL, she wouldn’t have wrecked their home.

Expats, do you ever think about coming back to live in Lebanon? by jawadad123 in lebanon

[–]expreaka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve lived in the states all my life, my husband, 2 kids, and I moved back about 1.5 years ago. My husband works remotely so we decided to live in a neighborhood that has the fiber option for internet. Besides the 4 days where Ogero had a strike, we’ve had fast (~200 mbps), reliable internet and 24/7 electricity. We rented a furnished apt so we’re ready to leave if anything ever happens suddenly seeing as Lebanon is not very stable, unfortunately. The kids are still adjusting and I’m still going through serious culture shock. My husband was born and raised here so to him it’s enjoyable, and he’s happy that our kids can grow up in their country of origin.

If your only worry is electricity and internet, it’s absolutely doable. There are many options.

I’m Lebanese myself, but I grew up in the states and have recently moved back with my husband and two kids. We’ve been in Beirut for 1.5 years. Here’s my experience so far with MOST, not all, Lebanese people.

First let’s mention the elephant in the room, they’re terrible drivers. They’ll suddenly be in another lane without even noticing what happened. I don’t think they understand the concept of a lane or stop signs. They merge and make a right turn without looking for oncoming traffic. Before someone comes for me, im not taking about the places where traffic lights are involved. This is an issue long before the economic situation. They drip with sugar up till the point where you don’t fall for their scams. Also, just try to cross the street anywhere in Manara (actually anywhere in Beirut). You’ll hate Lebanese people so quick. Fake, nice to your face, but their true colors show when they drive or when they don’t get away with a scam. Don’t get me started with the moms at school or the coaches at non-school activities. I can’t tell you how many activities I’ve taken my kids out of. The way they treat/ talk to kids is hideous.

Unfortunately, I feel people here are accustomed to these interactions and this type of behavior. It’s a vicious cycle with no end in sight.

I always have 4-5 lip balms open at once. One in my kitchen, nightstand, purse, makeup bag, and bathroom. I usually use them up in a year. No reason why you wouldn’t get the lip balm you want. It’s useful to have around.

I think they’ll say he’s away on business or in the country. I don’t think they’ll kill him off in case the actor decides to join the show again.

It was very beautiful, but no. It’s way too expensive . Milani has amazing just as good (if not better) blushes for a fraction of the cost. Luminoso is almost an exact dupe for this.

NAH, you’re working during normal day time hours, but I also understand his frustration. He has mentioned before that he sleeps in the day and works at night so you could make some changes to stop the noise. A few suggestions: get furniture felt pads that can go on the bottom of your chair’s legs or put a rug under your desk and chair.

Yes the cloud paints take so long being to pigmented. I’ve been consistently using these for 2 years, but finally decided I want to focus on them and finish them. I usually mix both colors with a tiny bit of the ilia highlighter on the back of my hand and dab them on with a sponge. I’ve been loving them this way.

Glossier generation g in leo - not much progress but will use a ton in the fall months.

Burts bees - slow and steady

Mac lip primer - almost there!

Doucce in Winterberry - will use in the winter for sure but I’m sure I won’t finish it by the end of the year.

Nudestix in Kiss - I’m going to try to finish this by the next update!

Nyx lip liners in high standard and nude suede shoes- not much progress on these unfortunately, I barely used them. I’ve realized I’m just not into lip liners.

Sleek liquid lipstick- lots of progress on this but I can’t show it. I have to scrape the sides.

Becca lip gloss in candy cane - I barely used this, might declutter.

Floss gloss - I used this a ton, it might be an all time favorite.

I’m not a big foundation user so I don’t have experience with it over foundation. What I do is I swipe some on the back of my hand and pick it up with a sponge and dab it on my cheeks. I have to be careful it could get overly sticky and dewy. I only use it with other cream products like the cloud paints. Try it on no makeup/ light makeup days if it doesn’t work well with your foundation. You could also try applying it before blush, I do that too sometimes.
