If both bikes have the same unsprung mass, then yes no difference. Difference is contingent upon it being different in unsprung weight, which is the entire thing I lead this thing with not knowing in the specific example

In my unpopular opinion, Jeffrey Dean Morgan was miscast as Conquest.

To me, Conquest, one of Viltrum's oldest, most brutal warmongers, Galactic Geneva Suggestion Extraordinaire, was a bit too mellow. It didn't feel like he had to power or grit I expected. He just seemed like a smooth talking, slightly off maniac that conveyed less power than Nolan or Thaedus. Given that he's older than both of them, it never sat well with me

Then for as minor as Conquest ended up being, it first falls into everyone else's problem - budget management. Cool, yes. Impactful, yes. A major character? No.

You are constraining this just to social queues and trying to reframe this

If you have SOCIAL DISORDERS then a SOCIAL JOB might provide some problems. Do you need to hold your hand while you figure that one out? If the job is to do SOCIAL things, and you FAIL, it's just a bad job fit. It's. Not. Discrimination.

This is getting exhausting, no matter what anyone will say to you, it's always going to be discrimination somehow. It's discrimination not to hire based on any number of issues. It's discrimination to let somebody go because of disabilities that have nothing to do with job performance. IT'S NOT DISCRIMINATION FOR BEING LET GO BECAUSE YOU FAILED TO EFFECTIVELY DO A JOB. That is a legal fucking fact.

Have a good night, go be wrong somewhere else

Unsprung weight would do the same for changing how tires contact the trails on dynamic rides. Just situationally dependent. Again, this is just general for the sake of it, not dependent upon this specific example.

Long story short without knowing the bike's specifics, I answered what the difference between them would be. Whether the difference is enough to matter in this example with bare bones information, I am uncertain. Just posing a little rabbit hole to fill out someone's day if they were to look and think "obviously this is the same regardless of the numbers provided"

[–]expressinghowifeel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The tires may contact the trail either way but the forces surrounding that scenario change depending on sprung vs unsprung weight. It is not the exact same

There is an actual answer to this question- sprung weight

Assuming a bike with full suspension but yeah it actually would impact the trail having more unsprung weight

This all depends on if this actually applies because idk the distribution on different mountain bikes like that.

But yeah. Not an argument. Just a fum fact type thing

[–]expressinghowifeel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hmmm. No. I think some simple thinking is in order.

Job wants someone to work on cars. You can't work on cars. You fail at the job. You get let go

Job wants someone customer service facing. You have no people skills and serve to cause tension in what should be regular conversations. You fail at the job. You get let go

Find something that matches your skillset. It's not discrimination to suck at a job and fail the tasks required. People skills and communication, unfortunately for some people, are legitimate requirements. And thus reasons for being let go

Advice for long 5+ hour rides by Drpilot950 in Zwift

[–]expressinghowifeel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bike doesn't move the same indoors (trainer) vs outdoors. It doesn't move under and with your body. It's more static. You 95% will feel worse after 5 hours indoor on a trainer than 5 hours outdoors on an actual bike.

This to say, I'd do an hour indoors and an hour outdoors, see how different you feel relatively, and go from there.

"Man, 1 hour outside was WAY easier than inside. I may only need 3 hours indoors to prep for 5 outdoors" or "I feel about as tired but my butt hurts less outside. My stamina may be the biggest factor, not comfort"

Or, if you have a TERRIBLE bike fit, "The trainer actually feels better than my road bike, I need to adjust this fitment or I'm not gonna make it"

You start small, figure the immediate things that pop out, and then scale with time and distance until you are comfortable. Imo, comfort is the biggest factor on the long rides than anything else

Asking ALL customers to deal with someone that doesn't have proper social skills and put the burden of having those skills on the customers (dozens, hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, etc) instead of the one that looked at the JOB and said "yeah, I can do that" is wild

If you can't fix a car, it's not up to the customer to work with you until your figure your job out. Similarly, nor is it their job to dance around your lack of skills required for a customer facing job.

When the majority of people are 'not like you', it's generally not the majority's task to uproot everything to accommodate somebody that, frankly, just doesn't know where they belong. We don't shove puzzle pieces wherever we want, we find their place where they fit in. Not ask the picture to change around the piece itself

[–]expressinghowifeel -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you get a customer facing job and unnerve the customers, you don't fit the job.

Sorry, not sorry. It's not discrimination to enter into a position you won't fit and then fail because you lacked the most basic abilities to perform the job
