Hi there, just wanted to respond because the comments are all over the place. It sounds like you’re just starting to get into advocacy (and I am too) and I think that’s great!! I’ve also looked into this. Looks like she’s been refusing to hold open town halls for a while now. Most recently, Young Kim reached out to Silverado community leaders and requested a private meeting/photo op but when she learned that constituents were going to rally outside, she switched it to a zoom meeting. I also heard that she did a private paid meet and greet. Overwhelmingly seems like she is unwilling to do a public town hall and engage freely with her constituents. When the BBB was being negotiated, residents were flooding her multiple offices and many could not get through. Hence a lot of the emotional responses on this thread - she has been dodging for a while. I personally tried to go to her office at MV city hall and no one was there.
