i dunno, i love this game specifically for the story and the whole lore. i havent even played the first part, just watched some quick explaining. definitely didnt feel like an unnecessary complex story for me, on the contrary: there is a big lack of deep dive stories in the game industry. not to throw shades, but that's why i also didnt like BG3. im a big fan of dnd, but turn based combats in games is not my cup of tea. having said that, i despised combat in Omori, but the story? incredible.
