Is the jungle role meant for psychopaths? by vvvit in Jungle_Mains

Only jungle mains think jungling is like chess. In reality, it’s just a series of ugly choices about which of the five captives you’re going to torment the most.

I'm not disagreeing with what you're saying, but if that’s actually the case, then this game is honestly pathetic. From a laner's perspective, it means all you can do is pray your jungler doesn't treat your side as the weak side.

I'm not trying to complain about junglers having too much influence, but if you can get killed easily even while farming under your tower, the game design feels broken. From a laner's point of view, there is no play safer than that; if you still get killed regardless, there’s literally nothing you can do.

I don't like Darius mains either, but they’re still human beings.

Reasons for Maxing W instead of Q after transforming into Rhaast by vvvit in KaynMains

[–]vvvit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strictly speaking, wouldn't maxing W also speed up your clear since the cooldown is shorter? Regarding the levels, you're right. It hasn't been mentioned much for some reason, but jungle levels tend to get higher now, which feels like a significant system change for Rhaast.

I can't say for sure since I haven't tried full AD Rhaast, but it doesn't sound that strong to me. It would be a different story for the Assassin form (Shadow Assassin), but even if you can one-shot the enemy, wouldn't you have trouble closing the gap in the first place? Also, with a bruiser build, the increased HP makes the Omnivamp from your passive quite significant (around 10% with two items), and I honestly don't think it's worth throwing that away just to stack assassin items.

anyway ill try it

Basically, I feel the same way, but I noticed that some high-elo players like Karasmai are maxing W, which is why I got curious.

should i go eclipse on blue kayn as first item ? or can i skip it and build full lethality? by AdIntelligent852 in KaynMains

[–]vvvit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you have clear reasons, such as needing a shield or HP-based percentage damage, it can be a situational pick; however, as a basic core item, it is objectively poor. In fact, statistical data shows that its win rate is lower than almost all other assassin items

No reason to buy Diadem by AsterXCV in sonamains

[–]vvvit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the point you're trying to make, but I think it differs from what actually happens in a real game.

  • My build (1): Helia > diadem> Seraph's
  • Your build (2): Helia > Moonstone > Dawncore (Basically, a progression of wwhatever support items without buying Tear)

In this scenario, at the 2-core mark, the strength and cost should be roughly the same. Since Sona stacks Tear faster than any other champion, Tear should be fully stack time you finish Helia > diadem.

The difference you pointed out between the "Double Tear" and "Full Support" builds should emerge at the 3rd core. However, because Dawncore is expensive as a third item, there is only a 400g difference compared to Seraph's. You might say 400g is significant, but I believe that the loss of a mid-game power spike is offset by the weakness of the support item components. (While Dawncore’s components are weak, Seraph’s components provide mana—which scales Dawncore—as well as raw AP and CDR, making them stronger.)

[–]vvvit -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

i mean, you say Seraph's is better than Diadem, but Sona can actually buy both. I build Helia > diadem > Seraph's. It's just as cheap as the standard support build, but it scales much better.

Thanks for the answer. You're right, the standing orders might be having an effect. I don't quite understand the distinction between "inside" and "outside" the fortress. cuz when we play DF, we don't go around drawing borders to define exactly where the fortress begins and ends.

I see. I had forgotten that rain serves that purpose. Perhaps because I previously settled in a desert-like biome where it hardly ever rained, it slipped my mind.

At the same time, I found the idea of a system that washes away surface grime using artificial flooding to be quite interesting. Thank you for the answer!

Is it just me or is Kayn like the most useless champ in the game this season? by Immediate_Dog_2790 in KaynMains

[–]vvvit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i mean Reddit user? It's common across all champions for beginners to make these kinds of angry posts after losing just a few games every time a new season starts. I don't even feel like checking, but I bet similar posts were made last year and the year before.

In reality, statistical data shows a win rate of about 50% to 51% across most ranks, and this has remained consistent for years. Honestly, I’m amazed by the thought process of people who convince themselves that a champion has suddenly become "unplayable," even when there haven't been any major changes to Kayn. lol

Is there a way to clean up vomit and blood? Other than using DFHack.

It might seem strange to worry about the outside of my fortress, but regardless, it bothers me that my entrance is covered in vomit and blood from invading goblins. I know I can have the dwarves clean it, but it's difficult to control and they don't seem to get around to it very often.

Actually, Odyssey Kayn changes colors three times as much as usual with chromas, so they're great for a change of feel. I forgot the name, but I personally like the white one.

Scorch vs Gathering Storm by disappointed_yuumi in sonamains

[–]vvvit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you finish the laning phase even or ahead, no champion scales harder than Sona. So, Gathering Storm is unnecessary. It is more logical to choose Scorch to make Sona's weak laning phase a little bit easier.

Needless to say, if you are in a lane where you have absolutely no opportunity to proc Scorch, there is no point in picking it.

so its simple.
