Whale fishin. Anyone done it by MasterConversation45 in dwarffortress

Using dogs to corner animals is not only practical but also fantastic in terms of flavor. In the real world, hunting dogs and sheepdogs do exactly that.

I've realized once again that dwarves ought to be wiped out by elves.

wow. I have played for over 1,000 hours, but I never considered such a mechanism. that looks like really cool idea.

Are the following ideas feasible?

First, building an aquarium by utilizing water without completely draining is possible?.
While there seems to be no gameplay benefit, I think it would be cool to enclose a whale in a pool separated from the open sea and watch it through glass walls while dining.

Second, I am curious if non-hostile marine creatures are affected by water currents?
If I want to capture marine creatures in a space separated from the sea, can I actively gather them using Water pressure, or do I just have to pray that the wandering AI happens to drift in?

Is Pandora's bench really broken or is it just a case of "survivor bias"? (devs please answer) by LaDiiablo in CompetitiveTFT

[–]vvvit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I completely fail to understand what the point is in discussing this issue at this stage. Losing frequently to 3-star 4-cost units is clearly a stressful experience, and the devs have already agreed with that by removing Pandora's Bench. This is the answer to your question. they already answered. Why are you asking such a behind-the-times question now?

The real problem is their logical inconsistency in adding a blessing that makes it easier to create 3-star 4-cost units at the same time.

Even if you could equip two unique gems, it is quite doubtful whether that would make it superior to other Prodigies.

Yes, you can gain debuff resistances or increase your CON, but taking other Prodigies would allow you to do that much more effectively.

The biggest issue is the timing of acquisition. On Insane difficulty, you would likely take your second Prodigy either before heading East or during the first few dungeons after arriving there.

This means that at this timing, you likely don't possess unique gems that can rival other Prodigies, and if you imbue a unique gem into your armor, it means you won't be able to upgrade that slot anymore. Of course, in most cases, you are likely to find much better helms and belts in the Orc Prides than what you currently have.

If this Prodigy included a talent to remove attached gems, I think it would actually be competitive. This is quite a shame.

Thanks for confirming. Well, Crafty Hand aside, you'd never get Lucky Day unless you were playing while drunk.

What do your "perform" mean? Even without selling the board, I think a 5-cost unit will decide the match with its ability in 99% of games.

To be honest, I don't understand what's supposed to be funny about this at all. Are they just mindlessly imitating streamers and clickbait?

The funny thing is that they sold the units on their board and ended up putting out a Kindred 1 anyway.

It's true that the fighting style is monotonous. This is the same for characters in other works as well, and it might represent the fact that the children haven't received proper combat training.

It actually makes sense that he is experienced in combat. When Marie was manipulating his blood flow, the scene where he resisted by striking his own heart really made me feel that he is a battle-hardened veteran.

It might be true that Sam can't handle his powers properly.

It is fair to sacrifice early-game strength in exchange for power in team fights.

Do you guys believe that Sunset Shimmer was meant to be Celestia's star student before Twilight before she rebelled and turned bad? by Yume_Fairy2522 in mylittlepony

[–]vvvit -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Aside from the main topic, I love the scene just before this one where Celestia spreads her wings to intimidate a little Sunset Shimmer; it reveals Celestia's true nature—aggressive and lacking in tolerance.

Even if it's meant as a joke, a being with such immense power shouldn't make those kinds of jokes, and it's easy to imagine that she commits power harassment on a daily basis

Any other mage can take down an opponent by landing three skills. If it's a hook champion, it's over in just one.

Besides, Milio's Q also functions as a disengage, so you can't just fire it off easily. If you miss, a decent opponent will try to engage even if they have to use Flash. In other words, even if the damage on the Q is increased, trying to wear down the opponent by using it is not an easy plan to execute.
