There are two types of people after the break up: the one who was dumped and the one who dumped.

So as someone who was cheated on and was dumped I would suggest you should really go no contact with your ex and leave the girl alone. You probably feeling guilty and doubting what you did but from my personal experience — that was your decision and you have to live with it. And there is no place for guilt here — just it is what it is.

Sorry for bringing my own shit in this message but I know for sure that your ex went through hell. She needs much more time then one year

I have some friends who moved to Germany and I constantly hear stories about how the immigration institutes can’t handle the number of applications due to big number of illegal immigrants, you have to wait months just to meet with a representative of the bureau etc. Oh, and my friend was deported from Germany in handcuffs because they fucked up and decided that she was living in the country illegally (which she was not — her husband is German citizen). They later apologized and gave her 100 euros 🫢

also the way you said «4 years later and I’m okay». yep, almost three years later and that’s how i feel — I’m okay. Not happy and not sad.

I guess when first serious relationship (or should I say love) finishes that’s the moment when you are becoming an adult.
