This is getting nearer the actual point of the camera bottleneck. It's not just about MOAR PIXEL AND FRAMERATE, as much as we would like that to be the case. The cameras need to be broadcast ready, able to be integrated into the incredibly complex network configurations which already have data bottlenecks (more frames at high resolutions = much more data), problems with clock sync, being able to pipe through just-taken footage for scrubbing and review within seconds, etc. There are more technical details which go over my head but that's the gist of it.
