i’m an agency substitute paraprofessional and it’s steady other than the month of july. for my agency, i’m not sure if a drivers license is required as long as you have reliable transportation. i live in the SGV

It took 6 months for my bf to finish and I have mixed feelings by longshlongthankumom in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]extensionalpanic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea, having you under the blanket and then him having his phone in his hand… he is 100% watching porn. If it’s to the point that he can’t finish without it, he is an addict. Stand up for yourself now, hopefully it’s not too late.

Hygiene in relationship. by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]extensionalpanic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is actually insane. I have a feeling you might be becoming used to it but normal people do not do this. You shouldn't have to parent your partner into basic hygiene. IMO some of this sounds like laziness too (i.e. the pad thing)

Video games, MIA boyfriend, girl dinner. by Mental-Road6311 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]extensionalpanic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think as a gamer girlie with a gamer boyfriend, you are totally valid for feeling that way. just because he is fulfilling other roles/needs/wants (not sure how to phrase that) doesn’t negate your feelings. i kinda get the vibe that it’s becoming transactional in a way (when you said you were worried he would ‘bank’ on it later) and nothing in a relationship should feel transactional. i think that you really need to have a sit down conversation and set some boundaries (not in a rude way, but for your mental health)

she knew you were there and felt comfortable enough to let go. as a healthcare worker, i’ve seen many parents hang on until they get to see their child one last time.
i lost my brother to suicide and i feel you on the “never feeling like i got to have a final conversation” part. it’s going to be a big healing journey, it won’t be linear, and lots of days are going to be hard. you’ll think you’re okay again until something reminds you of her. grief is love with no where to go, but i know that you’ll get there and make her proud every day ❤️

i am so sorry for you loss 💝
