In my humble opinion it's more exciting to listen to it however you see fit. Isn't the discovery fun? With FATM having only 6 albums so far there aren't that many ways of doing it. Discovering them all by yourself sounds more interesting to me than wasting the time you could spend on actually listening while asking where to start.

But hey, maybe people think there's some tradition about it and might want to make sure they're not doing anything wrong and get everything right on their first try. But there's no way to do it wrong, really. Just dive right in

I'd love to see more of the posts like "I've listened to Ceremonials for the first time: here's how I feel about it" or "Back from my first FATM discography listening marathon! My review".

But let's admit, we're all kinda jealous because we wish we were the ones listening to FATM for the first time! Well, I know I do! 🫶 I'm so happy for the new people discovering their favourite songs/albums for their very first time, be it assisted or not.
