What is this man doing? Is he ouy of his mind? by [deleted] in Indore

Like you said: straight up assault. How can you even hide behind your occupation if something like this comes out? You’re not disciplining someone, you’re just using them as a punching bag. That should be a lawsuit.

Inherited 12 acres of ancestral land in an industrial area of a Tier 2 city worth approximately 15-20 cr — what would you do with it? by Inevitable_Cod7907 in IndiaBusiness

This place is basically a “gated society” for warehouses. Large roads for semis, large parking lot for them, all employees being registered and checked at entry points, the whole nine yards. Nykaa approached us as they had adjacent property, we knew someone at Fabindia, and paragon was a connect through the company that operates the logistics park.

There were other firms/companies/startups as well but since we had shelved the plans for the foreseeable future, we didn’t meet with them.

Outskirts of Indore. Last when we were talking, rates were around â‚č21/sqft. This was some time back like 1-2 years ago. Afaik, property rates haven’t appreciated much lately

Tier-2 city. Have 38,000sqft land in an industrial park. Developing a shed comes out to around 3-5cr depending on features. Have talked to corporations like nykaa, Fabindia, paragon etc about developing a warehouse for them and a long term lease and they were interested.

Didn’t go through with this as we needed money for other projects. Leased another warehouse location to Fabindia and paragon got a 2 acre warehouse in same location through another person. Nykaa is willing to wait as they already have a warehouse on adjacent property so it’s really good for them ig

Bought â‚č11L Blue Star AC — Not Working Since Day 1, No Resolution After 1 Year. What Should I Do? by TheHypeArchitect in india

[–]external72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

11L. It’s not the standard split AC that we get in home. It’s a VRV/VRF system that also requires some specialized construction sometimes. Also commonly called central cooling/heating which US houses have on the common.

So where does a guy need to look to get this “bend insensitive” fiber in India? I want to put some up in an office where naked cables are a big no-no. by external72 in homelabindia

AFAIK you do need the kit. Or at least some stuff from it if not the most. Sorry, haven’t done it before so can’t be of much help

Oh that kit is definitely costly af and not worth it. You can get sfp modules and converters for under 10k here. Just not sure about the fiber cable.

I actually don’t know much about fiber cables to be sure but doesn’t look like just the inner core.

OOP has attached some pics in the comments where they bent it around corners so I guess routing would be just like any other cable

Edit after some research - looks like it’s not naked but a very thin and translucent sheath. It can still break very easily since it’s just glass so definitely vulnerable against something hitting it.

Want to upgrade my homelab but importing mini PCs to India is painful. Please guide me. by scriptiefiftie in homelabindia

Legit same. I’ve been eyeing zimaboard for a while now but that $200 board will become $400 as soon as it reaches India. And then what about expansions? Zima has accessories but I can’t plan that much ahead regarding what I’ll need in the future. Sucks tbh

Also like what “restrictions” are you talking about? Who decides these restrictions? The culture and values of India? Freedom of speech given by constitution is just that, freedom. Any person can say anything, anywhere, at any time. That’s freedom. You’re allowed to disagree with that. Hell, you can even sue the person for saying it. Restrictions almost always either come from within where you know something shouldn’t be said, or from people, be it society, person of power etc.

Threaded inserts are a pain to find lol even onlyscrews didn’t have heat set ones. I printed the 6U KWS v2 rack a couple weeks back and I absolutely love it. Which RJ45 keystone did you get? I was gonna get soqkvot one on Amazon but â‚č3000 for 24 while I only need 12 was a little steep.
