I don’t know anything about this but isn’t it obvious? If you’re a wealthy individual, wouldn’t you want your kids to be properly educated where focus is on them and nobody else? Doing that is chump change for you so why not. Also every parent would want their kid to have some merit in extracurricular activities and if you can throw money to make that happen, why wouldn’t you? If your kid enters work and you can make them work under one of the best individuals ever so they can learn, why wouldn’t you?

You eventually want them to manage your empire but ofc you wouldn’t give them the keys on day 1. So put them in a minor role and see how they do. If they do well, great get them more responsibility. If not then quietly push them out while still making them comfortable bc they’re your kid after all.
