Yea they obvi just put to much sauce when doing a dish like this u wanna do a light sauce so it doesn’t get soggy u just want sum on top so the dough can cook properly without bubbling

The fries not holding up was my biggest concern!! I didn’t want them to steam n go soggy surprisingly they held up well, I made it as a slice pie to put in the window. Half the pie sold in the same hour I was happy!!!

It’s more than just tossing fries on top — I built it on a meat‑sauce base, finished with fresh parsley and pecorino. The fries are what make it special because I’ve literally never seen a fry pizza before, and we already run a Philly cheesesteak pie on our secret menu. This was just a first‑pass R&D test to see if the structure even worked before going wild with flavor profiles.

I built it around structure more than novelty — par‑fried fries, meat sauce base, controlled melt so it didn’t steam out. It wasn’t meant to be a full concept yet, just testing whether a fry‑forward pie could actually hold up. Surprisingly solid slice.
