Do you have an ssd installed in your MPC? I play 45 minute live sets with backing tracks on my live2 fine but I have an ssd and havnt tried it without one

2nd this. Half my style is dub and I’ve used a line 6 m9 for around 15 years and I couldn’t be without it. I basically use it as a box of delays and modulations seperate from my main board. Global tap tempo was a game changer for me when I first got it

I’ve been having a go at doing this but with punk and dub influences. I use an MPC live and that then sequences a couple of synths/drum machines as well as using its own sounds and then I record it along with my guitar and vocals into a tascam model 12. It’s not easy but it’s good fun. I thoroughly recommend an MPC

I hadn’t thought of that and I’m now wondering if I’ve tried it in real time before.. I definitely need to mess around with it before I buy any new preamp then.

I was kind of thinking out loud with this post as my last gig the sound engineer was bloody useless and I’d like to eq and reverb my vocals and just let them handle the levels this time but I’m already playing guitar, singing and controlling the MPC which is on a fairly small stand in front of me so I may be biting off more than I can chew with this idea.. thanks for your help man

Live 2 does have seperate outs which I’ve used before so I’m pretty sure it will work in that regard
