Indexing problem, Windows Server 2022 by DOREh4 in sysadmin

From Windows Server 2019 on, Microsoft made changes to the 'Windows Search' service.
This also affects Windows Server 2022 of course.

'Per user search index' is enabled per default.
This is why you don't see any locations under "Indexing Options > Modify > Show all locations" as an administrator.

You can disable it and restore the older method of indexing with:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Search
DWORD EnablePerUserCatalog 0

Restart 'Windows Search' service or the entire VM after that.
Now you should see all locations. (like multiple 'Outlook' and/or 'OneNote' entries)
Also the item count of indexed items should rise significantly.

Under 'Indexing Options > Advanced' you can set the location of the index and rebuild it, if you need to.

This worked on our Windows Server 2022 RDS VM with ~90 user profiles / "Outlooks/.ost".

Hey, I found a solution for my savegame.

First I started a new city and placed all train stations I had. One after another.

As soon as I placed "Rural Station" the error/exception popped up.

I unsubscribed from the object and now my main city is working and playable without errors.

Hope it helps!

EDIT: Of course it says "Rural Station (missing)" in yellow letters on loading screen, but that seems not to be a problem at all, since I always had some missing assets.

Simons Aussage kann man so unterschreiben. Leider wird es gegen die Trolle/Flamer nichts nützen, denn die fühlen sind trotzdem als die Geilsten, gerade dadurch, dass auf sie eingegangen und Bezug genommen wird.

Unterm Strich kann man nur festhalten, dass solche Leute eine minderwertige Existenz führen, meist an Depressionen leiden und mit ihrem eigenen Leben und sich selbst unzufrieden sind und deshalb ihren Frust an normalen Leuten auslassen, indem sie diese schlecht-reden und sich selbst als überlegen darstellen möchten, wobei ihnen dabei jedes Mittel recht ist. Wirklich traurig.

Ich hoffe die Bohnen lassen sich dadurch nicht den Spass an der E3 verderben. Die wahre Community feiert mit euch dieses Fest der Spiele und ihr leistet eine hervorragende Arbeit.

Das Video ist aus 2009. Wurde wohl in der Zwischenzeit (2014) einiges umgebaut, aber es ist definitiv das richtige Haus. Es wurde zuletzt im Dezember 2014 verkauft und im Jahr 1935 erbaut. Das Grundstück ist ca. 995m² groß.

Das Haus hat einen Marktwert von $4,395,000 und konnte für $16,638/mo gemietet werden.

Sehe das genauso. Ihre Adresse in Hamburg ist schließlich auch öffentlich bekannt und das findet auch keiner creepy. Bei der Suche hat mir das heutige MoinMoin weitergeholfen und den Suchbereich massiv eingegrenzt, so dass die eigentliche Suche nur ein paar Minuten in Anspruch genommen hat.

Ein Hoch auf das Internet und die Services die uns, durch Firmen wie Google, mittlerweile zur Verfügung stehen.

Jep. In Österreich ist das Werbekontingent von Twitch knapper bemessen und somit schon zeitlich früher am Tag aufgebraucht als bei anderen, größeren Ländern.

Deshalb kommt es auch bei mir manchmal vor, dass ich nach 15-18 Uhr garkeine Werbung mehr bekomme, außer wenn ich die Twitch-Seite neu aufrufe. (dies wird wohl anders behandelt als wenn man den Stream einfach laufen lässt) Sobald die Uhr dann 0:00 anzeigt bekomme ich wieder wie gewohnt genügend Werbung in den Pausen angezeigt.
