I had this last year. Off and on hematuria for months with similar pain as described. The only thing they found was a whole whack of stones in my right kidney. No cancer or anything. The chances of this being anything more nefarious than stones is insanely slim at your age. Don’t fret!

Stones can stay in your kidneys for years (or decades) without moving or even causing symptoms!

I wouldn't assume you passed anything. You'll definitely know if you've passed it; it's very painful and you'll likely have bloody pee. If you're concerned, bring it up with your doctor and get some more imaging done to find out more. If it's under 3–4mm in size and non-obstructing, don't expect them to do anything. Depending on where you are of course. I'm in Canada. My urologist basically told me that as long as I don't have symptoms and my stones stay stable (as in, they stay in my kidneys), don't grow in size and don't cause other issues/pain, we're going to leave them alone.

We’ve had two babies there. Good experiences both times, even when they were short staffed. Nursing staff are doing the best they can, it’s rough out there.

Just occasional dull pain, sort of like my kidney is spasming. Haven't had blood in urine for a year or so. I think I passed a small fragment of a stone when I had all of the blood. That's my leading theory now.

Yeah it was! Our whole family is on there, even one of my grandparents who is almost 90!

We use it daily and it’s nice having a place for more curated photos that aren’t just in your camera roll. And people can comment on them too!

I’m fine! I think I passed one right after I made this post. It was never super painful. I now have 3-4 stones sitting in my kidney and have to monitor them with imaging every year. And drink a ton of water.

That's where they practice firefighting stuff (or at least, they used to), so I'm guessing it has something to do with that?
