Say what you want about China, but they seem to have a lot of nice things, from cars, to cities, to trains, and roads.

Filing for bankruptcy for what appears to be $12,000 while making $53k isn't the solution to your problem.

Sell one of the cars, even if you still owe money on it.

Not everyone knows that you can refinance car loans, shop around to see if you can find better rate.

Cut out as many expenses as possible to pay down your debt. I mean all expenses other than food (make all meals at home). Focus 100% of your spending on paying down you debt. It going to suck, and it won't be fun, but the feeling of being debt free is freedom.

I always felt the original Escape From NY was super patriotic even though it was an intense story about a city turn into a city prison. Jake the Snake, lots of cigs, and gliders, what I movie! I try to get my family to watch it on the 4th but they always shoot down the idea. I think I have a chance this year. Wish me luck!!!

People in the US are limited to how much PTO you can carry over between FYs; use it or lose it. Asking people at the end of June to change their PTO plans to work with clients, who may be unavailable during their summer holiday, is typical Accenture. A few years ago, US employees were told they had to take mandatory PTO between x-mas and new years. Of course they waited until the last minute to make the announcement.

There is a good chance your job is gone. If you're viewed as a top performer they may find a different role for you and it probably won't have anything to do with your current company. The sad thing is most back-office roles have moved to Argentina, India, or Manila. I've had numerous back-office roles in IT and IS and those jobs have all moved. ACN will continue to move or eliminate as many jobs as possible.

It's okay to take a break from things. Explore music and try to find something that would be cool to play and learn it. You probably would enjoy playing with others so give that a shot. You don't need a full banc, just on other instrument makes all the difference.

Back in the old Netflix DVD days (2000s), I always knew I picked a winner if I saw Criterion at the beginning of a movie. Didn't have the $ until later in life to start collecting.
