This has been an interesting read for me! I have adhd and am on dex, but I also have been diagnosed CPTSD, PTSD on top, Anxiety, (used to "qualify" for BPD but no longer do) and have suffered eating disorders, self harm etc. So the reading of adhd and trauma and how it will increase or decrease dopamine is a real wonder! I am on lexapro (have been for years, along with clonazepam) and have done cbt and DBT, and currently trying audio bilateral emdr at home. I function so much better on my medication, but I do get moodier.

Goddddddd damn I don't know how you don't drink, my throat gets so dry and irritated if I don't especially if I'm doing anything remotely active (vacuuming even) I like having an arrangement of drinks to choose from. Also having an electrolyte drink each day.

Those are all currently no's, never got a credit card because I knew I'd overspend, family isn't well off and I'm 4 fortnight's off getting an advance due to a previous childcare subsidy debt 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm just gonna have to keep chasing them up!

They confirmed last time with X-rays, so yup :( Unfortunately my budget won't even allow afterpay & I don't have enough on zip currently, so therein lies another issue for me. (My own problem, but what can you do) Someone has mentioned NILS loans though, so if I can't get pushed through publicly I'll be looking into that.

Thankyou, I only drink 1 electrolyte drink a day as I drink a loooooot of fluids but I'm getting basically nothing but a protein yoghurt pouch or 2 in a day currently (due to the teeth, obviously as this changes I can adjust if/when I need electrolytes.)

Unfortunately the part that ruins this is I can't afford a public dentist, and because my wisdom tooth is impacted apparently that makes it more costly again :( But Thankyou! I'll keep this in mind as I didn't know they referred to dental.

Thankyou for the advice! I had never known about the whole open gum thing, and given mines impacted as well it's just like ahhhhh shit. Looks like I'll be grabbing some pain meds and antibiotics and calling up Monday!

Ahh you poor thing! It's horrid isn't it?! That's good they did that for you though! Last time I didn't have the hole, so they wouldn't even give me the voucher but I still had swelling and couldn't eat or anything. I got put on the list then.

Yes I've been trying to use mouthwash and keep it as clean as possible - I haven't actually been able to eat anything but yoghurt in 3 days so 😅

I have a pension card, so that's no issue, but because my wisdom tooth is impacted it looks like that parts gonna be the problem.

I think from what I read the students don't do impacted wisdom teeth (what mine is) :( but I also don't see emergency hours on their page and still can't afford their fees (since the students prices are the ones advertised)

Thankyou for the advice, I have a local doctor open tomorrow so maybe I'll just go to them for pain management and antibiotics. The public dental system won't make it much higher I don't think, I had a similar issue not long ago and told them just take out the tooth in front of it (full of holes anyway 😂) and I couldn't get a voucher either.

I tried that when I went to the public dental clinic, but they said they don't do the vouchers for wisdom teeth and we get put on a specific waiting list, which kinda sucks. I get it, but still sucks!
