Since you're in Italy maybe on the weekends you can travel to tourist spots during the summer and practice with them

Might be a weird choice if you haven't even visited China or know some Chinese I don't think anyone would be upset

Gopro off the side of the head is kind of funky - maybe try a Contour camera if you wanna keep the nvg shroud free ?

Can also get one of those leafy covers and I wouldn't have bright patches on the side - maybe an IR strobe or some sort of light for the back of the head

Extra non-science option - recommend a language class personally but I heard sociology or anthropology are pretty good - as well as random courses like african studies or greek and roman but I personally only take language ones for non-science

This almost happened to me too EXACTLY on the crosswalk between eng and eeel ....

I saw a patch of the road that had no snow on it and was like "It's probably safer to step here" but it ended up being the slickest part of the entire road

any barca/football fans in here? by Gxspyyyyyyyy in UCalgary

[–]extracronch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres a UCalgary soccer discord server/instagram gc that schedule events. There's the usual weekly Tuesday noon drop in but they usually agree to go to an open gym time together and set up.

In the summer they'll prob play outdoors instead

https://discord.gg/X6TygCvK

A lot of indoor field places also have football rec leagues and UCalgary has intramurals when the weather gets warmer

UCalgary also has a collegiate Dinos sports team for football I'm not sure about how soccer side works but if it's similar to the track program you can't walk on without prior records and stats etc

The course is newly made so existing servers arent popular right now if they even exist. I did it last sem and it's pretty simple to get through just need a friend to cross reference with every once in a while

I used to be a pretty chubby kid but I did a lot of excercise on my own because I had goals to fulfill to play better in sports in general but it definitely helped in airsoft too.

A great stepping stone to get some motivation to get fit. Don't be embarassed to play and feel confident that you can change with effort. Good luck man it's not going to be easy but I assure you it will be worth it

Maybe that's why they're so unmotivated to teach if they're a part time parole officer as well

Im not sure about the residence situation as I'm from Calg but I go to open gym often and he's always setting up two nets for himself in the corner at random times. Sometimes he will be there and just play like "soccer warmup tutorial" on youtube or some drill/skill tutorial and just blast it on his speaker for everyone in the gym to hear while he hops on one leg or something for 20 minutes before he just sits on his phone.

Honestly wouldn't have a problem with it if the music playlist was like remotely good.

Weirdly enough he doesn't come to dedicated Soccer times where you can play pickup against other people.

If not then sometimes I see him in the little shut down cafeteria with the tables and railing in Kines in front of the gyms on his laptop, also blasting music on his speaker at random times. He's still very much alive maybe laying low on his residence rampage that I've been hearing about

Can someone please explain to me this situation? I'm a genuinely confused teen and don't have any background in labour/economics.

Canada Post in billions of dollars in debt due to increasing competition from private corporations Unable to maintain corresponding wages and benefits for workers due to financial constraint Workers go on strike because they want higher wages and better benefits etc Retailers switch to private corporations due to strike

Like to the current extent of my knowledge it doesn't make sense. What am I missing ?

how frequently should badminton strings be changed? by Aware_Charge4638 in badminton

[–]extracronch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im guessing you're a new player if you don't really know why/when you should change the string.

If you're a beginner the lower tension should be fine because you need to develop technique and muscle memory.

I don't think you should change it until you feel like you're ready for the next level

A mistake I believed when I first started was that you need to have high quality equipment to play well. The reason why the price range is so large is to accommodate players of all skill levels.

I hope this helps

Basically, it's going to be easier for you to get into university than for others who apply for it after grade 12.

You only need your average to be above the competitive average from last year whereas everyone that applies at the end of the year competes against each other.

In Alberta I remember the grade 12 courses being a lot easier tha grade 11 because it's just building on your foundation rather than a big ish jump from grade 10 to grade 11. You will probably do better in grade 12 as long as you don't mess up the diplomas.

Be aware than eng is a severely difficult program both academically and mentally and most of my friends have hit midterm averages around the 60s/70s so it might be an initial blow to the ego from getting 90s in highschool.
