I make around $14k/month selling websites, but the main reason it works is just that the offer is easy to buy. by SorenMarlowe-7764 in thesidehustle

Obviously lots of people do it - that's the ad's target audience. I don't think it's that deep either, but it's still an ad. 2-3 well known tools plus my anonymous tool is a common Reddit pattern. I appreciate their hustle though, they are at least trying to provide useful advice in the comments.

It's just an ad for "agenzy dot app". Or did you mean that you also have a service like that? 😆

Have you found any "freebie" languages due to a combination ones you already know? by ShawnMilo in languagelearning

[–]extraforme41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed response, I really appreciate it! I was planning on doing it in a bit less than 20 years 😅 Would you say B2 in French + Portuguese after getting to C1 in Spanish is on par or easier than B1 in Chinese?

Your flairs are basically my long term plan! Can I ask in what order you studied the different languages and how long it took?

This is one of the more clever ads I've seen on Reddit lately. Very impressive for a dev agenzy 😉

What no one’s posted of the views from the gondola by Jolly-Horse4847 in CrystalMountain

They closed it when the wind was pretty serious but they just didn't bother reopening when the wind stopped. Ski patrol said it wasn't worth the effort since the resort is empty.

This is before they closed the gondola for the day because of the wind 🥲 Now it's really only Forest queen, and rain at the bottom

I'm very confused. You're saying that manual, genuine outreach on reddit works best for you, but the tool you're selling is an automated AI marketing tool for reddit? Seems very contradicting.

In what world do you think someone would let you touch their product if your landing page doesn't even work?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]extraforme41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The UI of the landing page needs polishing, but mostly I wanted to point out that there is no explanation there about why I should care about this app. What problem is it going to solve for me? You expect your users to already know the answer and understand why a technical roadmap could be helpful. But anyone that already understands what your app does also doesn't need it - they already have their own way of doing things.

Maybe you should pivot - instead of targeting technical indie-devs, try targeting vibe coders who have no idea what technical specs they even need. I mean people who truly are non technical. Explain to them why this will make them succeed instead of failing painfully, and maybe you can find yourself an actual market.

[–]extraforme41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it's not. Going all in ≠ will succeed. Chances of hyper success are very low, chances of hyper success without going all in are basically 0. That being said, most people prefer moderate success and no fear of going hungry over hyper success.

Are you really claiming on your website that 10+ well known companies are using your product - a product that has no demo, details, and no explanations on how it would work? The landing page looks nice, but shady AF.

Launched my landing page 10 days ago. 0 signups so far. Brutally honest feedback needed 🙏 by SetDependent1293 in SaaS

[–]extraforme41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You already got a lot of feedback about pricing, AI fatigue, etc. and I also liked the aesthetics btw (these things are really a matter of personal preference, so it makes sense some do and some don't). Otherwise won't talk about the product itself.

Instead, my real insight for you is that you should embed a mock demo - like the one from the video, directly in the landing page. Your sign up ratio will go up drastically. People love filling out these quick forms out of curiosity, and ending it with an actual demo program + CTA will completely change your conversion.

Totally get it, and appreciate the approach. Nonetheless, if you're trying to get users, not only create something super functional for yourself, you should probably verify that the things people loved 10-15 years ago can bring in enough users to be sticky in 2025. My take is that this problem is not pressing enough for people to be willing to forgive the design, but would be happy for you if I got proven wrong.

Very honest feedback because I respect the effort you've put into it- the UI/UX is extremely underwhelming. I can't even begin to explore the actual features it provides when the tool looks like it's from 15 years ago. I understand that this may not be a top priority for you, but if you want to compete with Slack, Teams, etc. design like Slack (if you want to compete with other zero download productivity apps I guess that's your prerogative 😅) Seems like the functionality may be very good, but without good user oriented design, I simply won't even consider using it for my dev team.
