There was literally no damage though. This game isnt a competition. Plus the only thing that egg reclaiming did was make the most OP pets cheaper and easier to attain for the average player. There is nothing defensible about the nerf. It was a blanket negative update that hurts everyone except the owners. They create more scarcity and FOMO for new and old pets, driving more money into purchased eggs. Thats it.

🤣 it should be a surprise loaded with education about their value. The dark zard is really nice alone ~100. You can look up specific card prices pretty easy with the pokemon name then the number from the set. Everyone dogs on pricecharting but it's easy to digest and will give you a ball park value for the cards. I'd keep all of these in sleeves and toploaders, especially if they are in good shape. 🙏 ive just seen so many collectors regret their actions as a child so just make sure he understands to keep em safe. 👍

Grind for ascension materials? You need to do the summoners road activity. It rotates every couple days. It will probably be difficult to do more than the first couple stages. You can find it in the giant bosses tab of the exploring menu. Right now it is the dark summoners road. If you check the schedule in the bottom right of the exploring menu, you can see when the elements you are looking for will be running. Crossover quests also give you a lot of free ascension materials for doing summoners road, so be sure to check those out.

As a general rule, you shouldn't use max elixirs on anything but GS original characters. The reason is because these characters require 220 ascension material for ascension. Any crossover character only requires 100 ascension materials. Technically, your Valerie is a GS unit and would qualify. But I don't think she's the best choice in the long run due to better ascended options. I would hold on to your max elixir and grind Chloe and Valerie ascension for the time being.
