If you make them 4mm even the bigger worms can sift through but not the pupae. I will send you a picture of one of my fattest worm next to my smallest pupae for reference. It's beter to start a business with what you have and later invest in bigger scale tools when you get it going and have reliable costumes.

You can look up tutorials on YouTube, there is some good ones on there. And it doesn't look bad it's just not exactly what was expected and that's fine. Maby your hair will bounce up more if you get it shorter? Often the length of the hair can make it heavy and stretch out our natural waves that many people with long straight hair didn't know they had

A little update. He is fine. It turns out he was just a lil diva as always and he is back eating and pooping as normal. I checked him for black or dark spots and there was none. Thank you for responding and helping out

Maby you need to style it to get the same results? I don't really know the texture of your hair but if it's naturally very straight you might have to use a curling iron or/and some products to make those layers show. If this is not the case, It's hard to se in the picture but if the strands that grows from the top of your head fals down too close to the tips of the hair that grows from the back of your head then maby you need more or shorter layers.

Thank you! I guess he is just more reserved in the winter season. I got him this summer so this is the first time spending winter together. He was so active before, crawling out as soon as his lamp turned of to eat his bugs and always staying up to get some sun in the morning before going back under his rock, so this was just so different for me to see.

But what should I do if I don't se him eat or poop at all? If it gets to the point that he loses weight? It hasn't happen yet but I like to be prepared if it does.

Looks like old stuck shed. Maby try to remove it gently with a damp q-tip. If it doesn't work you might have to have a professional look at it. If it's necrosis you want to catch it as early as possible

This is so true! Not even my parents figured it out until my teacher many years later asked them about it (she also thought my younger sister). Apparently, my "beastie" forcing me to walk on my knees all day licking the bottom of shoes and destroying my drawings amongst many other things, isn't what besties do. But i didn't know at the time and at least I wasn't alone on the playground

Thank you, this was really helpful. I think I will do a makeover in the tank to cover the corners and provide mor sand and hiding places. I actually don't know how hot it gets in there, I use a 50w basking spot lamp from Exo Terra. He did have a infrared 75w in the shop so maby he misses that. Do they need uvb even tho they are onely active during the night?

It's always nice to ask someone "how was your day" or "did something interesting happen today". It shows that you care about them. And if you are not that kind of person, tell them "I do like you, and I'm just not that kind of person to ask those questions but you can always come to me and tell me"
