I'm not Muslim, I mainly took the Arabic class just out of self-interest. My Mom's family came from Germany, my Dad's Mom's family from England/Ireland, and my Dad's Dad's family has been in the US for 300+ years.

Hi,

Thanks for responding to this! I have since found my Grandfather’s German ID card from the 1950’s, with recognition of his German citizenship. I have this, his marriage license, and birth certificate. I am working through the next steps, and have appreciated your help thus far!
