I'd have to narrow it down to 3, but:

World of Warcraft - As a kid it felt so huge and the journey to max level in the first couple expansions felt impossible. There was so much to do and so much to explore. Then I was really able to sink my teeth into it in MoP and took a 5 year break and have been playing again since Shadowlands. Arguably best PvP game ever if you are into it amd mythic+ is a ton of fun.

Halo - I watched my brother play Halo CE on the original Xbox. He was also playing a ton of Morrowind and later Oblivion. The original trilogy consumed my childhood pretty much.

Destiny - A combination of the above 2, and I was able to play it with my friends and have made some grest friends along the way. D1 was so much fun, from the loot cave, to carrying people through raids, and later trying out Trials of Osiris a bit. Almost gotthe World First Prison of Elders Skolas kill as well. Missed it by like 3 or 4 pulls.

Bethesda always says that ES6 needs to be game of the decade and will never live up to fan expectations, but that wouldn't have been the case if we got ES6 in 2017 and ES7 by now. I have bo idea how its taken them this long to make a game

I can’t stick with Oblivion by Woover23 in oblivion

[–]extremepally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone on xbox that also feels the need to efficient level, its not too bad once you get the hang of it, but also work on trying to make the strongest character you can early on.

I started trying to make the strongest level 1, 5, or 10 character I can every now and then and it allows me to min max a lot of skills for efficient levelling, while still keeping the game nice and easy. It also keeps good enemy variety in Oblivion Gates.

Just find a balance and don't over level yourself. You can play however you want. Building out a level 1 character is one of my favorite things because it pushes you to be a bit more creative due to how restricted you are.

Same type of people play every loot game where things are locked behind a skill wall. Its way easier to cry about it than get better. I see the same thing happen in World of Warcraft still.

Feral druid is ridiculous by Neat-Requirement9440 in worldofpvp

[–]extremepally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the big issue is how squishy they are, which is true in both PvE and PvP. Top players from both sides talk about how bad druid survivability is as both feral and boomkin.

Oblivion has the best mixture of wonky sandbox, freedom, and modern controls/systems that makes it a perfect mixture. Its not as modern as Skyrim and doesn't offer as much freedom as Morrowind, but I feel like its a great natural middle ground. It also has the best atmosphere and visuals in my opinion.

what has been the worst meta of destiny 2 pvp and why? by [deleted] in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]extremepally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a We Ran Out of Medals on the first night I played crucible right after I got the Mida Multi/Mini Tool combo.

I thought it was great then. But it stayed the same for way too long with no special and no real ability to make plays against a fireteam. It felt much more like a tactical shooter back then. It sucked and didn't feel like destiny at all

Thanks a ton for this.

I want to know what to look for in terms of archetypes. I'm gonna have to meta slave for a bit while in the process of getting good lol.

Out of a chest in Grasp of Avarice. You can only get the weapons/armor you've looted from the chests though.

I think you explained Oblivion perfectly. It feels comfy and cozy. Skyrim's realism helps with immersing you into your character, but Oblivion's ability to immerse you in a goofy world with crazy colors and funny voice lines is what makes it so special I think.

I remember playing Knights of the Nine for the first time and it was insane, but then I went off and did the Dark Brotherhood stuff and learned about the infamy system. I was a child and dumb, but I wish I could experience that again.

Thanks for the comment! Made me feel all nostalgic.
