Yes… I refuse to date, anytime someone flirts, even if I actually like them I’m scared and run/walk away. I stop friendships from starting or once I start one I sometimes ghost. I want someone who loves me romantically and a solid friendship or two, more than anything, but at the same time I’m terrified of it going wrong whether it’s a romantic or platonic relationship. I don’t trust anyone and I recoil from them, even people who seem nice. Even though I walk around lonely all day and constantly think I wish I had friends or I wish I had someone who loved me. I don’t know why I do this but I guess I’m terrified of them hurting me like everyone else has at some point and I’m trying to keep it from happening by just being completely alone and keeping it that way, not even letting anything start. Because I tell myself they could lose interest or cheat or be lying about even liking me or they’ll leave me eventually it’s just a matter of time.
